Dunno about your phone, but mine didn't come equipped with Ethernet ports (among other issues with your statement).

Used one of these last year at 3 location hotels for work flawlessly repeating the hotel WiFi providing better privacy & connection stayed up. on separate Family trip it enabled us to use our WiFi based baby monitor which was NOT possible thru the hotel click thru services to configure. Great investment and travel companion. May want to use a longer Ethernet cable than one provided tho & own travel bag.

Isn't it better to do this 1 time on the router than to do it on each if your devices instead? If you got multiple boxes, this makes more sense.
Having to re-authenticate has more to do with the network you are in than the devices themselves.

If you only have one device however, this doesn't make a ton if sense for you.

As a side note, I've tried to post gl.inet deals on SD from Amazon that were shipped and sold from gl.inet but SD won't allow it cause they don't have 1000+ reviews, so ya'll have been missing out.

I have this exact version. Works pretty well. Lacks 5ghz, otherwise does the job.

I started with a Hootoo Tripmate Nano, which was OK. I got a gl-inet AR300M because I needed MAC cloning for a cruise-line that had locked down on normal travel routers. I liked the AR300M so much I jumped on the gl-inet AR750S when it first came out. The AR750S is probably overkill for my needs but I like being on the bleeding edge of new devices. Anyway I'd say AR750S is the best if price is not an issue, otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the AR300M. I don't have any experience with the MT300N-V2.
