Saw a new sign at Walmart that looks pretty interesting. There's no dates on it, and I can't find any info on the deal anywhere which tells me that someone probably screwed up and put the sign out too soon....but anyway.
Seems like a pretty good deal for AT&T network:
$50/mo. but $40 with autopay:
- UNL Talk & Text
- 25GB High Speed Data then 2G
- Hotspot included
- Mexico and Canada roaming included
2 lines would be $70, 3 lines would be $100, 4 lines would be $120, and 5 lines would be $140.
Looks like this deal is only at Walmart - everywhere else has 16GB data offer and it requires autopay. This offer looks like it doesn't require auto-pay.

Any idea when the end date of this promo is?
Tracfone companies are lacking in many ways. This deal puts Straight Talk to shame.
Also, I'm never going to that shit hole. Idk what you're talking about swapping phones...it's a sim card that you swap like any other sim. Jokes on you, I've never had a problem with their customer service and never had to wait.
I've had my family on ST for many years at this point. It works and data keeps getting bumped.

If you have your "family" on Straight Talk then you're just wasting money.
Committing yourself to any prepaid company for 12 months by paying up front and only receiving an 8% discount is the definition of insanity.
Now have to wait for the Sprint unlock process to complete. Why they locked the phone to begin with is a mystery. It is my phone which have been paid off for more than a year now. I know I had them unlock it at least one time before. Do they do this chit just to annoy customers? Can't get away from them fast enough.
"AT&T may temporarily slow data speeds when the network is congested."
ALL of the 25GB of data is deprioritized during congestion. Depending on where you are located, this could be a deal killer. I am on their $75/85 unl. plan and it is not deprioritized during congestion at all until you hit 22GB of usage. (The $55/65 unl. plan however is deprioritized at all times)

The 25GB is not deprioritized. The statement is clearly marked with a superscript "5" referring to the unlimited plan and specifically labeled as such...
$55 Unlimited Monthly Plan: For all data usage, you may temporarily experience reduced speeds during times of network congestion. Video streaming limited to a max of 1.5Mbps at Standard Definition quality (about 480p). See att.com/broadbandinfo for details on AT&T network management policies. Mobile hotspot use prohibited.
Case in point, I generally get 60Mbps download or more most of the time. Yesterday I was downtown around 5pm and the speed was only 1-3Mbps in a location where I know speeds are generally much higher. I'm in a fairly small town as well(Jacksonville, Fl) fwiw

Go to that page and click "Monthly Plans" near the chart. It CLEARLY STATES this: PROOF: https://imgur.com/a/9tgAvOz for the 25GB plan. It specifically mentions the 25GB plan. It states before all else that the 25GB plan is deprioritized during congestion. Learn to read man.
"25GB High-speed data - How it works
AT&T may temporarily slow data speeds when the network is congested."
Edit: BTW, that superscript is only referring to the cheaper unlimited plan. The 75/85 plan is not deprioritized whatsoever prepaid vs postpaid, until after 22GB of usage.
I actually get great service from T-mo here in San Diego unlike some people on the internets who are constantly complaining about them, but am considering jumping to this plan since I usually go over the 100 minutes (and pay 10c/min after) and have to be really conscious with my data usage. Anybody considering doing this or are definitely doing this?
You just have to manage the metered 5GB cap. I regularly use 40+GBs/mo.
And I like the free phone promos from TMobile. So far, I've gotten an LG Aristo and Aristo 2 Plus free. Thinking about getting another Aristo 2 Plus soon.

Look at the standard details for the 16GB promo they're offering everywhere else...there's no mention of deprioritization.
