Hmm I've already used 8GB prepaid plan with autopay on $40. Looks like I cannot change my plan to this promo plan. I definitely need to find a way to port my number...
I'm not experts but you might look into Google voice...I heard u just gv your number then just grab any mobile deal and get new number. Then you use gv to forward call to your main number that you gave gv.

Thanks for the response! Have you tried the hotspot for video streaming? Is it fast and reliable? Also, have you tried the mint mobile internet speed?

I have not but, you should be fine as long as you turn off AT&T Stream Saver. See att.com/streamsaver for details.

you can use gift card to avoid taxes. Buy gift card from target or other similar site, get discounted price + CC cashback. At&T doesn't charge taxes when using prepaid balance and auto pay discount still applies even though amount is paid via balance.
Buy ATT gift card and use on this deal you meant?

Terms state: Multi-Line Discount: Plan eligible for enrollment in Multi-Line account. Account owner is responsible for paying monthly plan charges for all lines. Additional terms and restrictions apply. See att.com/multiline for details.

How would that work if you're paying up front?
I've been looking at this plan for most of the day and I was wondering the same thing.

I went to Verizon prepaid (slow speeds in Cali for me), then to ATT prepaid (awesome speeds at $45 for unlimited), but went and did the Sprint free year (regret it). After 6 months of Sprints 1 free year umlited I am waiting for AT&T's promo again ($45 unlimited).
Hi , I was thinking of moving to Verizon prepaid . I live in the Bay Area . Does ur speed reduce significantly?

I contacted AT&T again because the numbers didn't make sense for me either. This rep gave me a different, and more reasonable answer. Taxes and fees vary per area but are usually around $4 to $6 per month. I was quoted $5 for central Texas. They also mentioned that data overages are reduced to 2G speeds but you have the option to add an additional 3 GBs of data for $20.
So... My understanding from what you said is that if I pay for the deal at $305 then go ahead use it. They will devide $305 by 12. Whatever result is ($25.41), they will tax me on that result plus fee...so if I'm in a state having 20% tax I would pay like $5.80 a month tax plus other fees?

Yes if you buy discounted prepaid att cards at target when they are on sale for 10% and buy a couple cards then have that balance applied to your prepaid account. When your new month payment comes through there are no fees or taxes applied by att

I'm currently on Verizon Prepaid and looking to switch soon. When there's any congestion, I pretty much lose data all together. As in Google Maps or even Google.com won't load at all. GF who is on VZW Postpaid had service just fine right next to me.

It'd be fine if they reduced speeds to like 128kbps during congestion... but nope. They just cut you off.
