Keep what you have, in the long run you don't want to deal with all that hassle of a return, a repurchase, shipping, waiting for the card. Also I know this might not mean much but from a guy who plays on a 144hz monitor, going back to 60hz after consistent 144hz exposure, I could tell a difference, things just seem to move slower, personally I dont think the price difference outweighs the benefits.
Nope. It's a laptop thread, and you're comparing desktop and mobile GPUs. That's pretty asinine.

I jumped on an ASUS ROG at 900 from BBuy a little over a week ago. That had 120 refresh and 16GB RAM and a slimmer form factor. I know this one is 60 refresh and half the RAM. The question is do I stick with the ROG or save $150 (maybe $100 after buying memory) to almost match.

Still in a return window. The ROG is very nice but saving money is nicer. Decisions decisions.

Maybe dumb question, is the gift card as good as cash? Do you need a visa credit card?

It is 1660ti max-q, but still looks like a solid deal.

If you game on it keep the 120hz. Maybe go with the dell if you dont play fps.

With the gift card and after taxes isnt the difference closer to $350?

Also is your asus maxq? Because the dell is

A visa gift card is as good as cash. It's essentially a pre-paid debit card that you can use anywhere.

It's Dell's most budget gaming laptop, I think it's expected. Also other gaming laptops won't be much lighter either, even the high end ones. Don't think I've seen anything under 4.5 lbs for a proper gaming laptop (15 inch and above).

We were just looking for one for college... thanks. Not sure how it's different than the other Dell config posted, they looked the same?!
