I'm starting a new thread since the existing one is for new line or port in.

I called Xfinity mobile customer care to ask if they are offering any promotion to existing customers to upgrade to latest iPhone 11 phones and I was informed, in no uncertain terms , that I'm eligible for $250 Visa card if I were to buy a new iPhone 11 (Max or otherwise). He even read some written promotion to confirm when I told him I was suspicious of that offer. I even pointed out their website states that a new line or a port in is required... but I was informed that is not required.

The only requirement is I will have to buy the phone at a local Xfinity store.

Recommended: Place your order for the new iPhones on or after September 20th, 2019 *IN STORE ONLY*

5. Xfinity store reps are astonishingly incompetent and ill-informed. And unfortunately one has to go to a local store to get this promo.

The only potential problem I see here, besides agent incompetence, is the list of eligible phones does not contain the 11. That may change on Friday, it may not.

When Xs we're the new kids on the block, they were eligible for this same promo along with the older models.

While I realize that one poster mentioned a chat rep said that pre and post orders are eligible....I wouldn't trust that unless you find published info.

I have 0 trust for chat reps after it took hours and hours and waaaay too many phone calls just to get my paid off phone unlocked 🙄

Appears to be different than the one described to me on the phone and on chat with support.

This really shouldn't me this difficult. If the online reps are saying something, the stores should honor it. If I travel an hour to the store and get a runaround I am going to be pissed!!

No, this offer is only available for qualifying iPhone and Samsung phones in stock in participating Xfinity Retail Stores.

It's not the same offer. They have amended it. The offer I was specifically told about included this information...

Don't do it, just more trickery. I'm about 0/6 on realizing the actual offers promised by Comcast and am 6/6 on being bamboozled by different deals I'm put in but NEver agreed to.

I got $300 for bringing two phones over to them last year. I still have $180 of that left. Another $500 would go a long way to upgrading those two phones to 11s so I'm going in with as much information ammo as possible.

Very confused. On the site it says "Get a $250 prepaid card when you purchase this phone, activate a new line, and keep your number." but in the info it says "activation of new Xfinity Mobile line and transfer of phone number from another carrier within 30 days of phone order date" What gives?

The existing customer offer does not exist online. You have to call and ask about it. I'm guessing I'll have to call customer support from the store and educate them when I get there.

I was told in store that they do not do trade - in value when upgrading, they just cancel the rest of your payments on the original phone and charge you a $30 upgrade fee.
