-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

If you are only moving a TM number from one TM account to another TM account - there are no lines being added.
But - of if you are starting up a NEW line with a NEW number - you should be okay.
And... you have ZERO idea what phones will be sold between when you call and and when you arrive.
Or, how many phones came into day and awaiting entry into he stores inventory system.
BEST BET - go to store.

This deal, like just about every good deal out there is for new lines.
You can port a number over, or get a new number.
You can be an existing customer, but you must add new lines.
You can not just go in and get phones for free (or close) without giving the carrier something. That something is more business - new lines.
Moving lines from one TM account to another is not adding business.
Simple business folks. Simple business.
You need to spend 3 months and a hard pull on credit.
For most the $250-300 saving is worth it, but to for everyone.
Question is does Tmobile can reject my friend's rebate saying already availed the $580 deal using different Tmobile account with this same Costco membership? Because receipt will have the Costco membership number on the top
