Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I'm just not getting how this is a great deal...

You got to trade in your iPhone?? I mean I can sell my XS on Craigslist for more than $700. What's the point of donating my existing iPhone away to get a Costco cash card in exchange of that?? And to add insult to injury you got to add a new line( existing account holders can't take advantage).
If you trade in an iPhone 7 you get much more back than if you sold it separately.

The good news: good deal on an iPhone

The bad news: TMO.
Don't know what you have. But Verizon and ATT are idiots other than they may have little more reliable network at the cost of twice the price of T-Mobile. T-Mobile has best customer service ever. Recently slightly degraded though as sales people over the phone lie to get commission.

This deal sounds like wireless carriers is desperately trying to getting their baits out, hoping you got hooked to their overpriced services. I paid $14.45 MONTHLY with taxes for unlimited call and text with 2 GB. Come on!

I did a 6s plus today and it is confirmed $500. The t-mobile site says "up to" $700 which I think is the cause of confusion.

I don't know if I want to trust a rep telling me this. I spoke with a rep and her supervisor this morning. The supervisor pretended to know all details about the offer but after cross questioning, I was surprised that she didn't know much. Then she went back to her manager (that's what she told me) and said that she will call me Tuesday with the resolution. It's up to an individual when it comes to this $700 rebate risk, I guess.
Totally agree with you I am on fence whether take a chance or return it. I moved my number from xfinity mobile not sure if I will be able to move to them again.

I dont know the full details of the deal but from my understanding you would have to have the line open for 24 months both LINE for the phone and Digits for the watch.

So that's... Assuming ONE/Magenta Plan

$20/month line (auto pay) x 24 months = $480 fee
$10/month digits (auto pay) x 24 = $240 fee

$750 - $480 = $270 credit
AW cost - $240 = ~ $200 credit
$270 + $200 = ~$470 net credit

Is it really a deal though?

Cost of this deal is...

$130 + tax iphone 7 from boost = ~$150 fee
$20/line X 2-3 months = $60 fee
$700 - $210 = $490 net credit

Unlesss you absolutely need the line and digits plan, the costco still better imo
Thank you for the math.

May I ask about the $20/line as I am seeing $70/line? thx much

What is T-Mobile Connect?
T-Mobile Connect is a New T-Mobile prepaid plan offering that will be priced to benefit low-income Americans who struggle to afford wireless. It is available to everyone.

The $15 per month plan includes unlimited talk, text and 2GB of data.
For $25 per month, customers get unlimited talk, text and 5GB of data.
The plan also includes an Annual Data Upgrade every year after launch with an additional 500MB of data added every year (up to 5 years) - no action needed!
This plan will be available after the merger with Sprint is complete.
T-Mobile wants to kick everyone out of grandfathered plans that is true unlimited after the cap. They can't charge more on bill. Once on a new plan, you are stuck to pay more after cap. At 5g speed, you will use all data in no time.....bottom line is how to generate more revenue and they have been successful alongside better service with slow increase.

As a SD, you trade-in the lowest cost device for max value, NOT the newest device

So the store is having these out of stock. What are the chances they will restock before end of promotion because they are not commenting on this question!
