Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Did you trade in the new locked iphone 7 from boost or old boost locked mobile?
Bought a brand new iPhone 7 from the Boost store, 30 minutes later I was at Costco writing down the IMEI number for trade in.

Does 30 days to send in trade in mean it must be postmarked or received by then?

If you call them tomorrow, they will give you a date for 4th. i am not sure if they will give rebate to everyone but they definitely want to delay the phone cancellation and keep the customer stick to them min 6-8 months. Their Sprint merger is due and need more subscribers to take the stock price up :-)
Is there any reason to believe realistically that they can or will drag the rebates out for 6-8 mos, or is this hyberbole? That would be a deal breaker for me since I am only adding 1 line and looking to cancel once I get the rebate. Also wondering if people adding 1 line is an automatic red flag since its obviously a bad deal.

I am now with H2O and wife with TMO simple choice. We both are planning to open two new line (not port in). Since my wife is already existing tmo user, should opening a new line cause any problem with TMO? Appreciate if anybody did similar and respond. If it is a issue what might be a probable solution of this.
Why not just add to that account, and once everything is okay, cancel the line you are not using. Or just put the new account in YOUR name.

adding of a line is actually the best deal.
It's opening a whole new plan that costs a lot more money.

Did you find out the answer to this?
Yes, it works on TMobile ONE Business, I did 2x iPhone 11 yesterday. it was a pain in the a$$, you have to get a knowledgable rep. Otherwise, it will take forever. It took me 3 long hours. i still feel not 100% sure this will work, but definitely worth the shot. Also, i left the store with NO return labels. So not sure what that means now. Frown

Costco rep told me that if you are a Pre-paid customer (via Walmart T-mobile or any other second tier T-mobile provider) then you can port that line in as considered as new line.. If you are existing post paid .. then you are not.
Just have to get a new line via this deal and cancel the other NVMO line/simple choice..

why would you leave the store with no return labels?
Did you even mention it to them?

These reps are extremely busy due to this deal and the holidays.
yes, some are just lazy and not knowledgeable but I have done Costco deals several times from early this year with the 'free xr' and some reps work from opening till closing. Imagine standing up all that time and only having breaks here and there.

Is the rebate error limited to: Pro / Max Space Gray 64/256gb, Black 128gb, Purple 64/128gb?

Has anyone managed to successfully submit with Pro/Max Gold or any of the Green models?

Thanks!
To follow up on this, I called the T-mobile promotions number and the rep said this was an issue for all models. Don't know if that is accurate, but that is the information I was given.

IEMI issue: iPhone 11 Pro 64 GB - 1 Space Grey and 1 Gold. Both have the IEMI issue for rebate submission. The rep defaulted to a follow up call in 30 days. Same info as others have mentioned, keep trying online bu they require 30 days to do a manual override (this seems fairly arbitrary). I only received non-committal, non-answers as to how this would impact rebate timeline.

Yeah, I'm wondering as well-- how long should you wait after porting in to boost before you port out to tmo?

I asked them for the return labels and they said it would be done during the rebate process online. i know, i know, i know... like i said, get a competent rep. Mine was sooo bad. I did call the rebate center and they noted my account of everything. Im not really worried, i have a business account with over 15 lines... and have been with them well over 5 years. I dont think they want to have me leave. ..... but you never know.
