Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I just replied to your post on Twitter, I think everyone on this forum should do the same, it is easy to post and likely for them to take action sooner or get more senior people involved
Thank you. Most importantly, this conversation with the rep is now happening in written via Twitter DM, which is much more reliable than talking to a person on phone. Let's see if they can help expedite the resolution.

I replied to the tweet..they reached out on DM but lets see if this helps...There is no issue in the code/app because my friend just submitted a rebate for his 1 week old purchase and it went thru..looks like they are missing IMEI # in the DB which should not take this much time to fix.
Thank you for replying to the tweet, helpful.

What! The wiki is all wrong. Nobody should read it.
I was just being sarcastic mate.
I understand people are being idiots. I deal with this all day at work. So I switch off when I see such behavior. Rather that passing on info without the other person realizing you're being sarcastic just tell them to read the wiki. Hey you will type less as well!

Has anyone ship out their old phone yet ? Should I wait till I submit my rebate successfully first ? I have a bill credit and I am not sure to ship the phone or not to ship the phone because of the IMEI issues going on? I hope T mobile is not doing this on purpose... it makes ppl feeling sick

Someone just escalated the IMEI issue on Twitter to their CEO -> https://twitter.com/phxtrades/sta...49632?s=20

May be, we should all respond to that thread and add some pressure?
After this Twitter escalation, a rep worked with me via direct messages and said that he is escalating this issue and will will get back by tomorrow afternoon ( within 24 hours). We'll see if this escalation moves the needle.

I have NOT sent my trade in yet, waiting to see if I can get the issue resolved OR at least get something in writing that they will honor the rebate as we aren't able to submit due to the issue at their end

Just post the issue on Twitter, people with imei issues should all post and blow up their twitter with negative feedback, trust me I know companies don't want bad publicity especially T-Mobile in the midst of their proposed merger with sprint. I urge people to take a min or 2 outta your day to post and blow this up so they are likely to take action sooner rather than deal with their CSRs who have no clue and helpless, thanks

You will need to upload photos of your Costco receipt and imei from the box. Without those, your rebate will be denied, which might further complicate things. Better to wait.

This deal is not just for iPhone 11 and XR. I have seen that iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max are also part of the deal in warehouse.

So for one of the phone trade-in Assurant paperwork my rep missed a zero on the IMEI and I went back to get this corrected. All she did was to correct it manually adding the zero. Is this going to be ok? I'm afraid it will botch the whole rebate process. Help please!
