-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I'd send it ASAP. With Tracking.
Thanks, my friend. I want to be super transparent with you. This is a known concern at this time. However, we're partnering with our support teams now to get this resolved. As soon as we have an update, I will be sure to let you know. I know that you mentioned being concerned that you only had 14 days to return the device. I want to reassure you that you do qualify for up to $500.00; trade in credit + virtual prepaid MasterCard. We will make sure that you're getting the promotion that you qualify for. I appreciate your patience in between. I'm in the office for the next hour, but if there are no updates during that time then I will check back in with you tomorrow. I look forward to speaking to you again soon.
Anyone pls rrply
Enjoy it while you can, people. Since the Membership Wireless is unfortunately run by a 3rd-party company, it won't be long before all the locations stop selling T-Mobile. You can still order for "direct delivery," but that means no gift card, only the hated bill credits.
This whole experience this year has turned me off Costco Wireless. The 3rd-party company's customer service is absolute shite. They gave me some attitude and then claimed they don't have supervisors. They claim they can't search for stock: fine. They claim they can't even look up which stores carry T-Mobile: I don't believe that.

Is there any way to get the one time bill credit for the trade-in value of the phone paid out if you cancel within two months? I traded in my iPhone X 256gb, which was valued for $290 of bill credit and $410 of the rebate card. Do I have to stay on the plan to use up the $290 of bill credit or can I get it paid out if I cancel before it's used up?
I love Costco, but between Wireless and the Innovel company they used for our appliance delivery, I would avoid them for anything they don't directly control. Amazon is way better at hiring good local contractors, which is sad because they only recently developed local presence via Whole Foods. Costco should excel at this.
