Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Just went to a Costco store and traded a 6s. But I am getting the follow prompt when submitting the rebate online:

The device IMEI entered is not eligible for this promotion, please re-enter or contact 1-877-470-3619 for details.

I submitted an iPhone 7 earlier today without problem (that Costco trading trip was on Nov 27) if that matter). Anyone else still has the submission problem, if so, what kind of iphone was being traded in? I am wondering if it is isolated to 6s.

Has anyone been successful without being a costco member? I was told only the member can get the deal, I can't just show up with one.

Kiosk rep, who did my trading transactions, opened and activated the iphone 11 in Costco right after the paper work was done.

The failed submission is an iphone 6s trade-in for an iphone 11 64G purple for your data point.
The successful submission was an iphone 7 trade in for an iphone 11 64G purple as well.

You can buy online with expedited shipping. Store guys know people are using this to trade in and hence making it more difficult.
Online total cost is coming cheaper than doing it in store..use CB sites..I know one is giving ten percent.

For some reason, Costco rep quoted $59.00 for trade-in value of my iPhone 7 which is in perfect condition. Should I call them and ask to have it adjusted or Assurance will help to adjust it accordingly ?
Thank you

My bad, I entered the old trade-in phone's IMEI --- need to enter the IMEI of the newly purchased one. All is good after that is fixed

Can someone please please clarify the "Accepted Offer Value" on the Merchandise Return Label sheet thing? Please
I do not have 0, but I do not have the full $700 either. For my iPhone X, the return label says $290, while for my iPhone 8 Plus, it says $190. Does that sound right, or should I go back and have them update it to $700? This last part is kind of confusing for me. I called up wireless advocates (888 369 5931) and didn't get a convincing answer there, she just read out the terms and asked me to go figure Frown

Guys - if you've just gotten the phone - you may get the IMEI error; Somewhere on my paperwork - I remember something about having to wait 24 hours - after purchase...

I guess thats the time they expect for the sale to be registered in all systems - Costco+T-mobile.

Please be patient and retry after 24 hours. if it still doesn't work after that, then by all means - come here and ask for help from others!
