Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I have 3 lines on limited data plan. Can anyone recommend a way to get the deal while keeping the numbers and avoid additional credit check. Thanks!

Edit: wrong thread 😬

Hi,

Costco rep confirmed this deal is valid thru 12/5.

First time doing one of these offers. I currently have a iPhone 7, and would like to trade in for the iPhone 11 while adding a new line. The Costco rep told me I need a bring both my iPhone 7 and another 2nd phone to get the offer as I would be deactivating my old line once I turned it in if it wasn't attahed to a phone... This confused me - how do I actually complete this offer? Can the new iPhone 11 be used on my current line (phone number)?
You need your trade in (iphone 7) so they can take the imei #. They hand the phone back to you. Then they process a port in. You should have a working iphone 11 with the number you are porting to tmobile by the time you leave store.

I got two iphone 7 ($240 in total) from Boost Mobile today and the rep told me that even I pre-paid the $50 unlimited plan,
I shouldn't downgrade/cancel this plan until three months later, otherwise Boost Mobile will not honor this promotion.

My questions:
1. Is this a bluffing (maybe this would affect their commission?) since I never saw anyone mentioning this before?

Any thought?

Promotion site asks only for the new phone's imei and the return label has imei of the trade-in phone. How does tmobile know which trade-in phone is linked to which new phone?

I bought a XR trading in a 6s and a 11pro using a 7. The 500 from 6s should go towards the XR and the 700 from 7 sound go towards the 11pro. Would tmobile apply it the other way?

I was able to locate a pro 256 and they returned the 64 and replaced it in under an hour. New stock is coming in to various locations in the AM. You just have to call first thing and then race to that kiosk before it get purchased. The number of people in waitline today was much less.
Which location did you do the exchange and what is the procedure for this?

Even i want to return my 64GB and get the 256GB one.

Shipped my phone (iPhone 7, 32GB Sprint) on Wednesday after submitting the rebate online and got an email today from T-Mobile that a trade-in device credit of $59 was applied. Hopefully, the rebate will come through.. fingers crossed.

Does this still work if I'm already with T mobile?

This is a good question. Or at least something I hadn't realized somehow.

If I'm planning on trading in the only two phones I have (and we currently only have 2 lines), do I need to buy / bring in some cheap prepaid phones to have a physical phone for each of the 4 lines (2 cheap phones for current (old) lines, and 2 new iPhones for new lines)?

Your question doesn't make any sense.

Read the wiki. If you don't understand something read the wiki again. If you're still confused reread the wiki. Keep rereading the wiki until you're no longer confused. The wiki explains everything very clearly the fact that you're asking nonsense questions means you haven't read the wiki

Hi,

I am not sure I screwed it up but below is my case

1. Got iPhone 11 last week on Magenta Plus ported from Sprint. Trade in iPhone and all good
2. Went yesterday and bought iPhone 11 Pro and asked the guy to add it to my plan. Couldn't got the account info on time and the guy said I can port the number later as well.
3. Came home and today found that He added fresh line for full price. 1st line $85 and 2nd line $85, where it should be $140 together for two lines
4. Called tmobile and asked them to combine both lines

Now Questions
1. Will I lose trade in benefits if I port the number now. The customer support guy is not helpful. If any issues, then I will remove the new line, return the device and start fresh in Costco
tomorrow
2. Will I be losing trade-in benefits for the first line I took.

Please help me out.
If you make account changes (dropping a line) before rebate arrives you will absolutely lose it. Spend the extra 10 seconds to actually see what's going on before signing a contract. Geez
