Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Submitted four rebates on 11/28, three of them said pending as of two days ago and the fourth received. I had chatted in a week ago and they said all looks good. I have already gotten my trade in credit a while back.

Tonight when I checked the three pending rebate submissions don't even show up. Has this happened to anyone else?
I had one promotion show pending weeks ago and today I checked and it was disappeared.

Yes I'm in the same situation. Contacted T-Force, then they checked with the Rebate Center and came back said there's nothing wrong with my rebates. Told me to wait 8 weeks for the rebate. Submitted 11/27, right after the IMEI issues temporarily fixed by TMobile.
On my online account, iPhone 11 is showed as "Unknown Device", I think they screwed up IMEI(s) before 12/01.

I traded in the device but never did the step online (on tmo/promotions link). Is there any way to salvage this?
Go to promotions.tmobile.com and submit the rebate. ideally it should be done within 30 days. doesn't hurt to try, if anything you can contact tforce.

Just try it right way. My phones are unlocked. I'll close the accounts by porting to Verizon BYOD.
It seems I am just not having luck like most of you with Tmobile. First they did not give me full $700 like everyone else and now they are not ready to unlock the iphone until full 40 days are complete 'and' 2 bills are paid.
While I was aware of the 40 days and I am only 3 days away from completing this requirement, they are now telling me that I must continue the service for 2 months (or 2 bills paid) and then I am eligible for device unlock.
I think as soon as I complete 40 days of service on 1/8, I will also go ahead and pay $70 for the second month (which is otherwise going to be autopaid on 1/19) and push them for unlocking the device so I am free.

Also, having looked over the agreement, you most likely initialed next to the 6S and $500 part in the front. That means you acknowledged and agreed to the part.

The headache just to gain the cost of a 6s over a 6 is so little that its not really that worth it imo. But GL to you.
You assume I had a 6s, I went out and tried to buy a 6s but was sold a 6. I could have returned it but in the end the fine print made everything ok.
T-Mobile called Friday, I sent in the fine print (stating the 6 was acceptable) and they have sent my $500 gift card.

Way better to get the deal / phone you want than return the phone, search out another phone, and get the deal.

Sharing my timeline:

12/1 - Purchased iPhone 11 64GB purple for $629 + tax, new line
12/5 - Added another line with iPhone 11 64GB black
12/5 - Submit online rebate forms
12/16 - Scheduled USPS pick up for in use Verizon trade-in phones
12/20 - USPS delivered the trade-ins
12/22 - Device trade-in credits applied to account
1/5 - Received rebate card texts and initiated ACH. Trade-in credits+ rebates total = $1400

Now waiting for:
- ACH to settle
- Unlock iPhones. Online Rep said I have to wait 40 days and he will do it on 1/17 for both phones.

Hi,

Did you do the VC one at a time? Did you had the VC send to one phone, or 2 separate ones? I got all my VC last night as well. thank you

What the hell is going on. I called T-Mobile about my denied rebate. She approved it, then it changed to received yesterday. Today, I see that it is denied again with message showing "payout already issued to this mobile number".
Am I screwed over? Or am I about to receive my rebate soon?
Can someone please chime in on this?

The iPhone 11 I got after 12/01 is also shown as "unknown".

FYI: Got the rebate card today for the trade-in on 12/5 (Assurant received old phone on 12/13). But the status for the trade-in on Nov 29 is still in "Received" state. Indeed T-mobile might have messed up the processing order.

I have a theory. If you happened to use the same phone number to receive the rebate text msg for multiple lines, your last submission date was your baseline for all your rebate processing. Basically, it overwrote your previous positions in the queue.

What a mess, T-Mobile Mad

This whole promotion had hassle written all over it. Make the process so complex and inconsistent with different people getting different payouts, Different rules being told to different people on unlocking the device etc, that some people who are not tracking their rebates closely will lose out money eventually

You seem to be having a hard time with people getting more than the promised amount. As long as you get what it says in the deal's fine print, don't worry about others. That will make your life much less stressful.
