-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

shipped : 12/07/19
delivered: 12/10/19
status changed to received on 12/12/19
devices credited : 12/17/19
status changed automatically to approved for rebates today. I used a single phone number to receive all the gift vouchers.
Still waiting for rebate for one more device i submitted on 12/10/19. It's in received stage.
Was easy to ACH transfer. Surprising that they gave me full 700 rebate. (71 credit was already received)
If it makes you feel worse, tmobile unlocked my phones before 40 days and sent me $1400 instead of $700
thank you

I hope you can understand the emotion when you just buy 1 phone for your personal use unlike resellers and then you end up with hassles. As for me I got my money back and am a happy camper at this point but just yesterday I learnt from a colleague at work that he never called the tmobile about accepting $54 instead of $59 as he didn't know about it. Not every one is active on SD and Tmobile should have managed the promotion better. Some people may never check the status when it's denied and they lose the money. Why can some people not see for things as they are and not shoot the messenger

What a mess, T-Mobile
For each of my 2 rebates, I used the respective new numbers to receive the text for the cards and I still have not gotten mine. I submitted on the same day that the 'imei issue' was 'fixed' (11/27)
On the page of the submission date that lists ALL of your rebates, it shows as 11/27. When I click on each of those submissions, it says 11/29 as the submission date.
Both still on received .
I have gotten both one time bill credits on my bill which was on 12/5.
One is the 11 pro and one is a regular 11.
I requested this about 2 days ago and today I get 2 different emails.
The 11 pro was approved, the 11 was not. Both phones are being used with the actual SIM cards.
Denial email:
Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. We have received your SIM Unlock Request. Unfortunately, this subscriber is not eligible to receive the unlock code at this time. In order to be eligible, the IMEI must have usage by the mobile number requesting the unlock code and the account must have a minimum of two monthly service payments since first use of requested device.
Folks, register your card at login.wirecard.com and then go to payments. That's what our friend is talking about. You can register on a PC but will have to do the transfer from your phone after you login to the wirecard.com account.
1. Look at the back of the card. Lucky if the issuer is wirecard.com
2. Follow the instructions and create an account from your computer. Pay attention to the phone numbers and address info as this is validated later.
3. Login into the account (from computer) and use the transfer option to transfer funds into your bank account. Will take about 2-3 days.
4. Use the Pay by check and get a physical check. Guessing it will take longer.
I initiated the transfer to bank with $100. The funds were removed immediately and waiting for funds to reach the back. Will come back and update if it's more than 72hrs, else assume the process is smooth.
Am I screwed over? Or am I about to receive my rebate soon?
Can someone please chime in on this?
