Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

why are you asking others' permission to complain to t-mobile about your account? do whatever you want. what's the worst that can happen? t-mobile still owes you the rebate even if you complain.

everyone here followed all their rules. what's the problem with putting a spotlight on this issue through social media right now? even though the rules said we had 30 days after purchase to submit for rebate, did we wait 30 days to get the "imei not found" issue fixed? why does this have to be different?
someone who submitted both before and after 12/1 and had the latter approved already can make a much stronger case that there's some problem with their system which needs to be fixed right now.
"imei not found" was a real issue, we should be able to submit, we couldn't....here when we are calling them, they are saying there is no issue....please go ahead do however u feel....im happy as long as i get my money...i was honestly tired of att (13 years)....im glad i could score a phone with all the Costco inventory issues

When can we cancel the new line? I have received the prepaid card. Will Tmobile revoke the card if I cancel the line right now?
why do you want to cancel...is there any better offer at verizon or att?

We can hope...

The only obligation is that the rebate be processed in the timeline stated in the paperwork - "Allow up to 6 weeks for processing."
and what happens when they don't meet this "obligation" of processing within 6-8 weeks?
you get a big, fat "we're sorry for the inconvenience. we'll work to fix the issue as soon as we can", and jack$hit besides that.

i hope you don't think there's actual human beings going through the (tens of) thousands of rebate submissions and approving each one manually. it's an automated system designed to send out approvals on day 29/30 as long as all the qualifications are met. if that timeline has passed, it means there's an issue with their system (in this case, for all submissions from 11/27-11/30) that needs to be addressed before anyone gets their card.
you can choose to bring it to their attention now, or be a good foot-soldier and wait out the 8 weeks before doing the same thing.

there's absolutely no problem in asking them to justify why someone submitting in Dec got their money before another paying customer who had submitted in Nov. enough people enquiring about it will make them realize and address whatever system issue they're having for 11/27-11/30 rebates.

I'm one of the ones who submitted my rebates on 11/27. Just contacted T-Mobile via Facebook and the rep looked into my rebates and saw that they were still pending but everything looked good otherwise. She requested that the cards get sent out ASAP from the promotions team and said that I should be receiving them in the next few days but 7-10 days max. Will update once received.

The rep can manually process the rebate. I had two that were denied because of invalid receipt. I called in this morning to fix it and the status now shows approved this afternoon. You just have to keep calling until you get a rep that's willing to work with you. First rep insisted that there is nothing they can do because they need the original receipt. I hung up and the next rep said the store reprint is fine they just need to manually process it

unfortunately for us, this is also a real issue. because every single one of the 10 or so similar rebates from t-mobile for the past 15 months was either approved or denied by day 29-31. feel free to check past sd threads to verify. if you look at approved Dec submissions, that still holds true for this rebate. it's just how their system is set up. there's no two ways about it. if a submission is denied, reps can resubmit and manually approve it. but right now the 11/27-11/30 submissions are in a weird, unprecedented limbo.

i agree that if you call t-mobile now, they will not admit and/or care to look into this before 8 weeks has passed.

which is why it's important we ask about it publicly on social media, so that they have to address it right away. they care about complaints posted on twitter and facebook.

people got nowhere when they called about the "imei not found" issue. but it was fixed within a few hours after everyone went on twitter asking about it. there's power in unity. and it doesn't cost us anything to try to get our money back sooner than later.

Please follow-up after.
I got the call back from a supervisor and she wasn't able to do anything because its still in a received status. She said even though she has all 4 cards ready to distribute to me she can only do it once it's denied. They cannot override or do anything until it changes from received status. She spoke to someone above her and they told her to wait until Friday. If it's not approved by Friday then the next level manager will force issue the cards. Apparently if they issue the cards while in a received status there is a possibility that the system will approve and the customer will receive double the rebate. I'll update yall on friday

This is exactly I was told today by a rep. All rebates are processed automatically in their system. Human intervention is only needed if there is a problem.

Irony is that submissions from 11/27 to 11/30 are neither processed nor denied. So few reps are willing to take actions for those submissions at this point. There is a big void blackhole...

I contacted tmobile via dm and got the same response. Minus the rep requesting that my cards get sent out ASAP.

What do you do if there's a big discrepancy between the bill credit and card reimbursement? Meanining for my iPhone 7 I received a card with a balance of $632 and $25 bill credit. Where's the remainder $43?

It is getting even weirder -- at first, due to T-mobile online submission system glitch, my trade in line# on 11/29 was mistakenly overwritten by a notification number (a T-mobile line that is not associated with any promotion), Now the trade in line# is overwritten AGAIN with another Tmobile number (that is not associated with COSTCOAPPLE19 either). I guess the T-mobile rebate processing system is going through lines in my account for the correct trade-in line number. If so, it might take a while since I have quite a few lines that are not associated with the promo.
