Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Do I need to be active on my purchased iPhone 11 in order to get the debit card mailed to me? I read on here there is a risk of not getting it if the phone is inactive, is that true?

I purchased two new iPhone 11's in December and have used one a little bit but the other I haven't even opened the box since I am going to sell it. I received emails for both giving me account credit of $54. But, I want to make sure I get the debit card for both. Will leaving one new iPhone 11 in the box be a problem for that? Greatly appreciate any help.

Assuming you want to unlock it before you sell it, if so, you should use it , or TMO will not unlock

Started this process on 11/23. Waited to send in rebates as there were so many problems with rebates and T-Mobile being inundated. 3 phones so I'm happy. Just got my 3 rebates last night.
All in all totaled to $1700. I had figured $1750. But whatever. I like T-Mobile. I was never in it to turn the phones or cancel anyway. Just thankful to you all for the help and the late night reading! Some of you channel my snarkiness and I thank you for writing what i wanted to say at times.
One question- I also should be getting 2 cards from costco for the 2 other byod offers I had.
Has anyone received theirs yet?

I'm waiting for two of those too. $125 per BYOd Line. Upto 14 weeks they said. I too like T-Mobile and may stick with them a bit longer than some others here. πŸ‘

Rebate was finally submitted successfully on 12/15. Received a text this morning with the rebate card details. Between the rebate and trade in credit I got $700 back when I only paid $680 for the phone.

TROUBLE TRANSFERRING TO BANK?

As some others have mentioned, there seems to be an issue here. It would not let me transfer to my normal bank - possibly because I have done this before?

Entered a different bank account I had and it went right through,

Side note. Got rebate today, submitted on Dec 12. But have not gotten the credit for phone yet. Phone arrived with them on Dec 28th.

Once you complete a transfer on one card/bank, delete the bank info and do the next card.

For anyone interested I was able to go back to Costco and they exchanged 2 of the iphones I purchased for me with no issues. I paid $629.99 for 4 purple Iphone 11 but was re-reimbursed the full $700. When I went back they told me they only had black ones, they upgraded my lines with the new devices, then returned the old one. The boxes were never opened. I contacted T-Mobile today and they unlocked the devices no questions asked even though they unlocked the first four already. While I was getting the IMEI of the back of the box to unlock the devices, I realized that I was given 2 Iphone 11 PRO but they rang up for $629.99. Just data point for anyone interested.

Mworks BOYD promotion seems to be better -- $200 visa card in 8 to 12 weeks if you plan to stay with Tmobile for at least 3 months. https://slickdeals.net/f/13611154-t-mobile-deal-save-an-extra-220-on-each-new-line-with-t-mobile-start-nov-25?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1

Unlock process:

I paid two months bill and asked to unlock. 72 hours after the request, I got en email today telling me the unlock process. I just tried an att sim card, the phone is still locked. The email did say I should wait for 48 hours after email to do the unlocking process. So I guess it's normal? (that I can't unlock it yet).

I spoke to several customer care rep and chatted on FB. They are saying that everything is good and you have to wait for at-least 6 weeks before they can override and approve the rebate. I will wait for another week and then call again. They are saying that my rebate is on Dec 9th batch and it will get processed sometime next week but I know that people who has submitted after December 9th have already received their rebate.
I am still waiting for my rebate. I see people who have submitted after me have received the rebate . It is sad I am not having a status from both Tforce and On call customer care. They are asking to wait till Feb 6th(8 weeks from submission).

Can I return the phone and get full refund if I don't get the rebate? I have submitted on 12/3 and it still shows received.

Check on this site. It'll tell you if the device is unlocked.

Usually within 8 hours of you getting the email...sometimes takes a bit longer though...
