-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I purchased two new iPhone 11's in December and have used one a little bit but the other I haven't even opened the box since I am going to sell it. I received emails for both giving me account credit of $54. But, I want to make sure I get the debit card for both. Will leaving one new iPhone 11 in the box be a problem for that? Greatly appreciate any help.
Assuming you want to unlock it before you sell it, if so, you should use it , or TMO will not unlock
All in all totaled to $1700. I had figured $1750. But whatever. I like T-Mobile. I was never in it to turn the phones or cancel anyway. Just thankful to you all for the help and the late night reading! Some of you channel my snarkiness and I thank you for writing what i wanted to say at times.
One question- I also should be getting 2 cards from costco for the 2 other byod offers I had.
Has anyone received theirs yet?

As some others have mentioned, there seems to be an issue here. It would not let me transfer to my normal bank - possibly because I have done this before?
Entered a different bank account I had and it went right through,
Side note. Got rebate today, submitted on Dec 12. But have not gotten the credit for phone yet. Phone arrived with them on Dec 28th.

I paid two months bill and asked to unlock. 72 hours after the request, I got en email today telling me the unlock process. I just tried an att sim card, the phone is still locked. The email did say I should wait for 48 hours after email to do the unlocking process. So I guess it's normal? (that I can't unlock it yet).
