Got this delivered last week. Free tools, and free floor dock added back then. From what I understand you don't need the soft roller anymore? I have used it on carpet/wood/Linoleum and it transitions power depending on the floor covering and does a great job.

Dyson's customer service is amazing. I got a V10 Absolute during the July 2018 Target stacking coupon fiasco. I called to ask for my free tools, but never received them. Last month, I called Dyson, explaining I never received my free tools, and they offered to send them to me, a year and a half after the purchase.

"Could... I... please... possibly get the dock instead?" (The V10 dock includes extra tools, but the V11 dock does not, and they're incompatible.)

"Well, I had to pull some strings, but you got it!"

"Woo Hoo!!!"

I'd try nicely asking Dyson if I could get the fluffy roller as a tool. You might get lucky, like me.

Will never buy another Dyson. Have one of their portables and a standup vacuum. They are overrated and the sharks we have gotten since then, for half the price, are better and more reliable.

Just transitioned from a Shark Duo Rocket to a V8 Absolute. I had a Dyson standup in the past. The V8 puts both the shark and my old Dyson to shame.

As long as the deals are there, I'm a Dyson fan for life. I have a DC17 laying in my garage. I bought it in 2010, and it's actually a model from 2006. It still works perfectly, but the V10 has surpassed it in every way. I'm hoping to get many years out of the V10 too.

I love their designs, and their customer service is amazing.

Guessing this was a one time exception? I always thought the free tools required auto registration for purchases only on Dyson.com.

Nope, with the possible exception of being allowed to receive the dock instead of the separate tools. You can get the tools by calling as long your vacuum is registered. I got a tool kit for my DC17 purchased at Best Buy eons ago as well.

You should be able to get this for $399 at Bed bath with their 20% off coupons since they matched the price. No free tools but its cheaper.
