All of the Home Depots around me (southeast Michigan) have the Nest Secure Alarm System with Indoor Camera bundle on sale for $249. The online price shows $498, but in store, the price is discounted.
Remember to do in-store pick up. It will auto-adjust after you receive the confirmation e-mail for pick-up. If it does not auto-adjust, cancel the order.
Do not use BS. It shows the incorrect price usually for this kind of thing.

Which location are you in? I mean which state? Is this nation wide?

I see that.. I believe it's not nationwide
This deal has happened before for 269 but came with a Google nest mini.
Everyone was able to get one in the previous thread as it was literally all HD's. The online price and store price might be wrong, but try doing in-store pickup in your nearest location and wait for confirmation. The price should change if they have the deal.

So find an instore pick-up location on HD website, place the order for instore pickup, confirmation e-mail will say full price, but then the e-mail that says it is ready for pick-up should have an "updated" price. Also, if you refresh the order page after about 2-3mins, it should update the price there as well.

why is this so expensive? compared to other solutions. man
The sensors are pricey, but the system itself is not that expensive especially with camera included. MSRP of all this stuff is around 580 (399 for secure + 180 for cam). In comparison to Ring, Ring is cheaper, but i've had Ring and aside from Neighborhoods, it just felt cheap and didn't work as I'd like it too. Missed notifications, recording after the doorman leaves, etc. etc.
I assume these come packaged together, not separate, correct?
Last time I went into an HD to try for one of these, they told me it was a bundle SKU and wouldn't let me just get the individual components. Might vary based on who you talk to.

That's what I figured. Makes sense since they are pictured together. Thanks.

It's bundled in one box with one SKU. The inside of the box contains a separate box for the camera and the security system but you can not return one alone if that's what you're asking. I believe the camera box (maybe the security system box also) state "not for individual retail sale" on a small sticker.

I was looking at it more from a "sell on eBay" perspective vs. return.

You could, but the box will state that and people might ask why. You would just need to say it was part of a bundle and you don't need/want this par of it. I don't think it will be ab issue with registering the item since each individual item should have it's own QR code to set it up in the app (not too sure though).
But once you sell one of the items you won't be able to return the other item to HD if you changed your mind on the one you kept since it is a bundle.
