Price drop for anything is always a win for consumer. Agree 100%. Question is asked becuase they don't even need to drop prices at this point to attract buyers. Just wondering the reason behind the motives
Annoyingly I bought my 3900x the first week of launch AND HAVEN'T OPENED IT STILL. So I wasted extra money. Although I didn't have to ;pay tax then and would now, so with this discount it would still be over $460 for me, so I would have saved less than $40.
I am mainly waiting now to see if Newegg ever lowers the stupid price on the Samsung b die 3600 kit I want. If not soon then I'll have to just use my 3200 kit.... but one of my Newegg gift cards is from raise and out of the guarantee window if I don't buy something soon.
