What's new with you since Covid 19?

Just wondering what (besides the obvious) how everyone's been impacted. Work has all but halted for me, other than some online reselling that I do. Also, my stepdaughter will be moving in within a few weeks, since she's being laid off. It will actually give her a chance to make a career change and save for a house. We are planning a bigger garden, too.

So, what's new with you?

Less than 24 hours after going to the grocery store (with a mask and sanitizer) I'm quite ill again. On Monday I'd gone to a park alone and prior to that it was roughly 3 weeks since I'd been out. Alone here.

I had my flu shot, get plenty of vitamin C, and here I am sick for the second time in less than a month. Symptoms did fully resolve from the first time. I'm so angry right now because I know people who refuse to stay home and won't listen.

Won't be here for awhile. Terrified.

First day of being laid off from work yesterday. I dusted off my 50-year old Singer sewing machine and some vague memories of once knowing how to sew. I combined those with some Youtube videos, a t-shirt that no longer fit, and a cat-themed dish towel, and came up with these.






Since facemasks are now required in some establishments in Michigan I figured I would at least have some fun with it. laugh out loud

They have some flaws but with my skill level I was happy with the results.

What's new with me? I discovered that I really needed those adventurous weekends and less snack cakes. Or just to buy bigger clothes now. Frown That you can in fact run out of interesting TV series to watch even if you do own all of the services. And that doordash/instacart are my saviors! Stick Out Tongue
