Not the slickest deal, but I'm posting for anyone like me who is willing to pay the extra $7 over the lowest recorded price on SD to get it now vs waiting.

If you sign up for their newsletter by hovering your cursor near the top of the page you can get an extra 10% coupon (stackable) emailed to you immediately that you can use right away for $8 off (unsubscribe later).

I can definitely tell you since I originally ran as a boot drive a SATA HDD, then later on a SATA 2.5" SSD, and as of yesterday I am booting off a NVMe M.2 SSD...all upgrades on the same PC; yes the difference in boot time between a SATA HDD and SATA 2.5 SSD is almost night and day, but the difference in boot time between a SATA 2.5 SSD and NVMe M.2 SSD is negligible, at least based on my own personal experience after just having swapped out my SATA 2.5 for a NVMe M.2. Really the only time you'll probably see the performance advantage NVMe M.2 SSD offers over SATA SSD (either 2.5" or M.2 form factor) is during real-world large data read/writes (e.g., loading very large media files into memory for editing).
I just picked one of these up for 57.66 shipped.

Should compete quite nicely.

Check your email, but chances are you have a 25 off 75 code if you get Staples promo codes.

Best price I could find for this class of M.2 drive.

I ordered the 1tb SN750 yesterday and got the confirmation email. Today I received another email saying they are backordered and will take 1-2 weeks to ship. It was $144 including tax so I guess I will wait, can't seem to find a decent and fast 1tb nvme drive under $130 nowadays.

Thank you, good deal. How long will it take to receive the 10% coupon?

Edit: received coupon after about 5 min.

Would a heatsink complicate putting this in an Intel NUC? Like, make it too big? Didn't know drives had optional heatsinks

Yeah sucks... though I think think I spent about that much testing buying different heatsinks. Some were complete trash.

I'm wondering the same thing, is there room in the NUC for the heatsink and is it necessary if you are pretty much just running plex and bittorrent 24/7.

OMG, a gaming SSD? Really? What would a gaming SSD do differently than any other SSD to help you pwn your adversaries? Does it even support the aura glow?
