Yes. I have one of these Bose speakers and an Echo Studio. The Studio has a much fuller sound with better detailing. The Bose will certainly be a step above many cheaper speakers, but the Studio easily bests it.

That's because they sell their speakers to make money. Amazon sells their echo primarily to get you hooked into their ecosystem. They don't need to make money on the speakers because they'll get money from you via other avenues like music.
I own this speaker and 12 or so Sonos speakers throughout my house. If you put this next to a single Sonos One, the Bose sounds better. What you have to understand is that most Sonos speakers are generally designed to be used in stereo pairs or larger configurations. That's where they shine, not so much as standalone speakers. A better comparison to this Bose speaker would be the Sonos Move. If you have the extra money to spare, I'd recommend that over this Bose speaker. If not, this is a nice price for the Bose.
