Lots of companies are already helping to support coronavirus relief efforts, offering millions in donations or using their resources to make supplies like masks and hand sanitizer. But many brands are now also giving thanks directly to the people putting themselves on the line to fight the pandemic, with special discounts for essential workers.
That means that if you're a medical professional or first responder, you can find savings on a variety of products that might make life a little easier right now. Most discounts can be found on shoes and athletic apparel, which makes sense given that many of these workers are on their feet all day and require comfortable, supportive clothing.
If you want to help, but you're not sure how, there are plenty of companies that put the power in your hands. While you can always donate to local food banks or charities, I've found a few brands that combine giving and shopping by donating proceeds to relief efforts. So whether you need shoes, clothes, a phone cleaner or even a massage gun, consider checking out some of these brands that are helping coronavirus relief efforts.
Most discounts extend to all hospital staff and first responders (including police, firefighters and EMTs). Teachers are eligible for plenty of deals as well, as are some retirees. If you've been involved at all in helping curb the pandemic, it's definitely worth looking into the deals below to see if you qualify for special savings.
Do note that these discounts all require proof of eligibility, either through emailed documentation or verification via a service like ID.me or SheerID. Instructions are included on all the discount pages linked below.
Even if you're not eligible for these discounts, you might want to support these retailers to thank them for providing tangible support to the people on the front lines.
Not everyone, however, believes that two negatives necessarily make a positive.
I think that downvoting this post is a really bad way to say
THANK YOU to our
FRONTLINE essential workers critical to keeping society functioning, making sure that every one of us is safe, healthy, and has access to all of the resources we need.
"Downvoting prompts a kind of gamification. I don't imagine that users are going to be sensitive to all of the semantics of the things posted in this post and know how to use Vote Up and Down Vote appropriately."

Things like this is where we can go home buy stuff we like and be like "yey some perks!"
Thanks for the companies and to people who dont go "OMG why are they getting discounts and not me!"

Will be signing up my wife and oldest son for a few of these. A second (or third) pair of work sneakers would alleviate the need to constantly hunt down Lysol to spray them down.
You just bought me a couple extra hours of sleep. Thanks again!
Thanks. But has to be masks. They wont let us wear bandanas and etc. have yet to supply us either with any. Shit its an epidemic and I still get sent home for not shaving 😂
I've registered but hospital worker is not listed to verify, but under armour site says all healthcare! Were you able to verify?
Cnas are included on id.me under nurses. You can get a lot of these discounts.
FYI: For the Adidas website it's a bigger savings to use the code APRIL for 30% off your total which includes shipping instead of the 40% which they then add shipping.
They must use the new math because no matter how I load my cart the 30% APRIL saves more than the 40%....
I hope everyone uses these discount responsibly and doesn't abuse them. Basically I'm too busy to really use anything that's not an online offer and even then when I'm free I'm too tired...lol.

Was it full priced item? I can't even get verified lol it says healthcare workers but I don't fit any of the categories listed on id.me
If you are trying to get verified on phone or mobile app, it won't. Try using a computer and let me know. I didn't start with a full price item , I went for the clearance one; that may be reason the discount didn't apply.
I am doing a phone, thanks ill try the computer! Yeah, fine print says full priced items.

Mobile refrigerators outside at some hospitals is not a very good sight to see as a result of the spread of infection.
We don't have enough staff for patients. Have some RN's out of state at a friend's hospital and probably thinking what they have sign up for when they got assigned to that hospital. 2x RN's for 20 patients.
The quarantine is working for us, hoping we continue the trend since we may have hit our peak. Wish we're more spread out but unfortunately we're all living on top of each other in NYC.
