AT&T doesn't want to make this easy. According to all the info I've found so far, there are 3 types of suspensions: "I can't find it, It was stolen, or Another reason". Both lost and stolen will have the regular monthly plan fees. Another reason(if this means vacation) will be a charge of $10 per line each month? I think this may require an AT&T chat to provide some clarification.
this promo is not worth it, especially for me,,,, spoke to AT&T... for $250 reward car you need to port one number and add one line too. if chose minimum Plan $50 so two months total would be $ 240 including tax. so saving is $10 on one card

Your information isn't quite right. If you port in and activate one line, you'll get one $250 card. If you port in and activate 2 lines, you'll get two $250 cards. If you do 2 lines using the Shared Data 3GB plan, each month costs around $100. So 2 months costs $200 and you'll get $500 in GC. See my bill below.

For each line that you add, the number for it must be ported in from a non-AT&T carrier.

hpham, As usual, I am late for this deal too like Sprint $300 activated on 4/9. I ported in two Boost lines just now and I will get the SIMs on 07/1 to 7/3. After port in, I got the doubt. If I activate after 6/30, Am I eligible for $250 promo?. TIA.

Just to clarify...the June 30 end date was just mentioned by one person and in an indirect way.
That person got too many orders cancelled by AT&T, so he posted complaints on some social-networking web site. Someone from the office of AT&T President contacted him and promised to give him the equivalence of ten $250 GCs "when the promotion ends in June" (if I'm not mistaken). It's nothing concrete.

Ported 2 lines from T-Mobile few days ago. Att order says SIM cards will be delivered tomorrow.

Att chat rep told me that I should have unlimited plan to get the $250 credit per line. With WFH, 3gb plan would be enough. Can someone clarify please about unlimited plan?

Att didn't do any credit check, may be because I am returning customer?

When you said 2 separate accounts, are you talking about 2 different acct #, or just same acct # but 2 different groups?
Because my 2 lines were put into 2 groups within the same acct #, then I had the loyalty department merge them together.
Different accounts. Since I did the second and third orders before I activated the lines on the first order, I could not add lines to the first order. All three orders where on different accounts. I even used the same info on each order but that might have caused activation problems (that were resolved).

Many of us here, including me, got the $250 GCs by using the Shared Data 3GB plan. The terms of the offer just say "use a BYOD, port a non-AT&T number, have a plan with voice & data". Nothing about Unlimited Plan.

Ported all 4 lines out of my acct #1 today to H2O, using $1 SIMs bought at Best Buy, didn't add any money for plans. I'll let the numbers die after 30 days. I'll check to see when/if AT&T will auto-close the account.
I checked my AT&T account after each porting and the number of lines, devices, cost went down accordingly. After the last line (account owner) was ported out, it now says "We can't show your info right now".
Does H2O charge additional fee later if the line is not refilled later? I followed your instructions and ported out all 4 lines of my acc# with BB $1 H2O sim cards. Hope there won't be any extra chages from both H2O and ATT. Thanks

Hi guys, quick question - does swapping devices cause any issue? I signed up my parents on this but my mom doesn't need it so I was just going to put it on my eSim.

And also, there's no promo code I have to enter anywhere like Verizon or sprint, right?
Thanks.

If you check the balance before the card is activated then it shows zero. After activation, it shows $250.
I created a profile with sign-ID and password, thinking it'd keep track of the card balances like MyPrepaidCenter.com does, but it doesn't. You still have to key in the full card number, security code on the back, plus the stupid Captcha, to get the balance of each card.
I went to my local Dillons (Krogers), used all four cards to buy a $1000 money order, paid 88 cents for the fee, then stopped by my bank and deposited the m.o. to my checking account. Easy peasy.

Round two (for my 2nd account) in about a week.
Does your local supermarket take 4 different cards for $1000 at once without issue? I just went to my local Acme and was told that they don't accept break down of cards.
