Credit to Scurbdog for posting this originally. This dropped off of Costco's website but just came back on 5/31 at midnight ET. if anyone is interested. I was able to place the order successfully.

I bought one too. I'll play around with it and see what I think of it. With Costco's 90 return policy, it's a no risk trial run. My old IBUYPOWER rig from 5 years ago has been great. Only thing I had to do to it was replace the stock (loud and ineffective) CPU cooler. I was looking for an upgrade as I'm still rocking an R9 380.

This deal gets even better with Costco's 1% exec membership or 2% CB (with their CC). Though the best way to do it is to pay with your Discover card which is 5% CB (up to $75) at warehouse clubs this quarter plus the 1% CB for executive membership.

Yea... but you get extra 2 years warranty with costco CC. Thats 4 years of warranty, although im not sure what it exactly covers, and im not sure how they will like me taking the gpu appart to liquid cool it lol

I had heard that as well about the extra 2 years of warranty but I passed. Last thing I need is credit card debt at Costco so I'll take my chances. Here's to hoping they run liquid smooth for years to come!

In for one. It's a good possibly great deal for one of the recently highest ranked intel processors and graphics cards on the market. I'll take a look and if I have any issues I can return it.

Read reviews on Costco. Some complain of a loud cool whine, which is somewhat common for the 2000 series of Nvidia GPU's it seems. Still, like an earlier poster wrote, with a 90-day return policy, there's little risk in buying. Tempted to pull the trigger.

The Intel 9700K is really bad it's easily bested by a 3700x.

But we are on the cusp of AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPUs and NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPUs it's a really bad time to buy last years gear,

Are you f#@*ing serious? The card only is 1200 bucks on newegg right now. Fyi, it's not a custom card from msi or evga, which performances wouldn't match the nvidia one. Furthermore, say whatever you want about the 9700k, its a very good cpu, and that's coming from a team red guy. Also, whoever buys it can upgrade to the 10th gen cpus down the line anyway

its 2080 Super they are $680-699. CPU is $370 with no hyperthreading you could build with i7 10700k for similar price.

What's wrong with EVGA 2080 super? $689 on Newegg btw but I'm curious is there a third party comparison study done versus intel and 3rd party super's? Did intel significantly beat the 3rd party in all metrics?

I would love to get some feedback from actual owners of this pc to see if the BIOS is appropriately tuned for this build.

Here's a pretty insightful review of the iBUYPOWER series written in 2019:

Hopefully things have changed since then.

Everybody knows that nvidia keeps the best parts for itself since they got into the market with the GTX 10s lineup
