I have read that both the prime x570-p and the x570 TUF have the same VRM design. Could you share a source?
According to the video I posted above, they said it has an extra power phase and that's probably why it runs a bit hotter but can throw more power into the CPU. I really don't know though TBH lol.

You are correct TUF has an extra 50A power stage. Use for overclocking and stability.
For all those gaming enthusiast, how does this MB pair up with
Ryzen 5 3600X and MSI Radeon RX 580 DirectX 12 RX 580 8GT video card?
I do think this is a overkill for that spec, am I correct??
Save yourself 40 bucks on the CPU and get the 3600 non-X instead and upgrade the GPU to a 5500 XT or a 5600 XT if you can afford it. The 5600 is a large step up from either the 5500 or the 580 and the 3600 non-X can push more than enough frames to anything short of a 2080 per GamersNexus testing.
To answer your Q about the mobo, either in the link will pair up just fine with the 3600 and RX cards.

I planned in a weird way, bought M2 SSD, then Ryzen 3600X then MSI Radeon RX580 and now looking for mother board.. entirely played it wrong.
BuildZoid from GamersNexus calls these 2 boards the most effective x570s from 160-200. Other than the gigabyte elite, he pretty much says anything else under 300 is either a cheapo board or not any better for the money than the Asus-es or gigabyte elite. In other words, the ASRock phantom is considered cheapo by him

Also the TUF is better then the Asus P. TUF has better Vrm so doesnt need as much cooling.
