That is correct, however there is a lot of complaining here about HP not giving consumers the option to replace ram but that's not entirely true considering the Costco laptop.
No. I believe the font is default zoomed it so it looks normal.
It has USB C port but it is not a thunderbolt, it's just works as display port.

If you're a gamer you should stick to something with a better graphics chip and 16GiB RAM.
The second picture (perspective view) shows a Type C data and powerport, like this. [idgesg.net] Whereas the sixth picture (side view) shows a Thunderbolt port. I think the sixth picture is taken from a different laptop.

The OEM charger for this model is 65W, but I'm pretty sure your 45W charger will work. My Acer Swift 3 comes with a 65W charger and my 45W USB charger works via the power port. I can even use the Swift 3 at the same time as recharging, although at a much slower rate than with the original power adapter.
[EDIT: It will only recharge via USB-C while being used if the battery level is 50% or greater AND with an annoying intermittent beep. The OEM power adapter will recharge while in the laptop is in use, even when the battery level has dropped below 10%. The OEM power adapter will recharge while in use without beeping.]
Note: Lower watt USB chargers won't work with the power port. The lowest I've seen recommended is 30W (6A @ 5V).
