How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I'm on a TMO One Plus with 3 active lines for about 112/month. I was told that my plan is limited to 3 lines only and I can avail the free line promo only if I transfer to Magenta, which would increase my price.

This is B S, why should a plan be limited to 3 lines only..

Can I put the new free voice line SIM on a tablet for data only? I heard SIM that's provisioned for a voice line would only work on a phone but not a tablet

You can. My friend who just added the free line did, but the speeds appear to be throttled way down. I think the tower can detect the device type and assigns a speed.

He put the SIM back onto a phone and received higher speeds.

Can someone please tell how long does it take for the new line to show up in the account. I called T-Mobile and took the 50% off A71 offer along with free line. The rep told me that it might take 48 hours but I am seeing in the thread people reporting that the new line is already on their account.

it sure looks like the reps have some flexibility on who gets it and who doesnt. Lot of confusion as usual. It is a pattern with samsung and tmo promotions, ALWAYS. Smilie

Thank you so much for this! Added via t-force on Twitter. On simple choice 2 line plan with 1 free line already from a previous promo. At first it was add a line get one free but rep took time to look into it, added the extra line and sent out sim card for free. Awesome experience 👍

i added about an hour and half back, still doesnt show for me. The invoice they sent for esign shows 10$ fee and full price for phone. But someone above said they added the line at 745 in the morning and got text confirmation about an hour back. So it looks like it takes some time.

I was able to get the free line added to my simple choice plan but the agent would not stack the 50% off Iphone SE promo for adding a line. Sucks
Once you have the free line on my.t-mobile.com, I believe can simply choose to upgrade the phone and purchase the iPhone SE. It'll be scary as it'll seem like you're paying full price monthly when you hit 'purchase' but the 50% discount should automatically apply since it satisfies the promotion requirements (half off on new line).

Before going this route, definitely message T-Force on Twitter or Facebook and get one of them to confirm. Say you added a new line (under the free promo) and want to get the 50% iPhone SE and have them confirm your new line is eligible for the discount. I'm semi confident you would be fine.

I'm not sure that porting a phone number over the new free line's number will cause the credit to go away. I think that's what happens for porting in a number (for iPhone 11 promo everyone's doing) ... a new line gets a new phone # anyways and then the port in number overwrites the temporary phone number. Obviously I'd want to get T-Force confirmation online for verification (to have a stored message trail if anything goes wrong) before going forward with porting number over the free line.

And everyone does have a phone but I'd personally have no problems finding someone to pay $360 a year, $240 a year, or even $120 a year for one of my unlimited data Magenta lines. Even at say $10/month, that's $120 a year for every year for free for me and my friend is getting a great deal for cell service.
You're right. So to do it with an existing line, I'd have to had ported the number out prior to 90 days, then I could've added the line and ported my old number back.

I guess my problem is finding someone to ditch their exiting plan and come pay me lol.

Just a guess, but wouldnt it be when the SIM is inserted into a phone and activated?
My friend had his sim already, popped it into his current phone and then confirmed the line showed up in the account

I called and couldn't understand the rep. Went in to a store and got the extra added right away.

I'm on the 2 for $100 and already had 2 free lines. So now I got the 2 paid and 3 free lines. This is on a business account.

However I noticed my plan now says

"PNEM+UnlWeb&Messaging VB30"

Anyone know what this means? I thought I was on the Simple Choice or whatever it's called

Update -

I had the person confirm with their supervisor and they said no, I'm not eligible.

"I'm afraid we need to change your plan to Magenta plan to take advantage of this offer.
Base on the document. Your current plan is promotional is not including on the list of eligible plans.
If we switch you plan to Magenta, two lines would cost you $120. Rest assured that you'll still receive your existing discounts."

So bottom line, for anyone the the "T-Mobile ONE All-In Promo" plan, you are not eligible for this deal
I also have a T-Mobile One plan with 4 lines (3 paid, 1 free). I chatted with 2 different reps, one is a regular online rep, the other one is the message team of experts. They both told me and double confirmed with me that I will get a line added to my existing plan for FREE with nothing changes to my account. I checked my receipt, my plan is still under T-Mobile One not Magenta.

Is it applicable for Amplified plan?
I am on Amplified also. According to Tforce rep this morning the free line is available. Now when I got my confirmation email it says "Magenta" which is a different plan. I am really hoping she was right and did not mess up my plan. I asked her before she did anything to ensure my features and price would not change. So YMMV

T-Mobile One is a different plan than "T-Mobile ONE All-In Promo" that I have so that is probably the reason.
