Not a bad deal if you have existing coaxial and power and you want to upgrade your camera quality with out running new Lan cables.

Just FYI, the company (LaView) does not stand behind their warranty. So buy these with the expectation that they won't RMA anything for you if something doesn't work.

I got an LaView system from Newegg from a deal posted on SD. It was terrible. When I got the system it had no reviews but I thought it couldn't be that bad since it's just cameras and a DVR which should be something pretty easy to make.

The one I got was only 720p but it seems like they just keep making and listing new models when people start reviewing them negatively. Hmm $200 for a 4 camera 4k system with 8 mp cameras. Seems like a very solid deal even if it is DVR. Looking at the reviews on the web, only reason they are poor is cause of one feature people who cant figure out the phone app for live viewing, outside of that everyone admits the camera quality is good and everything else works well...... Ooh and off course the customer service cause they cant help with the phone app. So I would suggest if you dont need the phone app this is a good pick up.

Not my experience. Had to return IP camera that went bad and was sent a new unit. Contacted support maybe 5 times and they have always responded...I have 2 NVR units and 12 cameras. Only that one RMA. I have since moved all my cameras to Blue Iris for the additional features. All my cameras are now 2+ years old.
