Been happening every year with tmobile and costco. Just cancel the line after you get your $700-$750 rebate
Edit: actually i didnt remember correctly. You had to add a line and trade in an iphone up to 3-4 generations old but its still a deal worth waiting for if you can wait
The T-mo deal that you have to wait for:
1) Won't be available on the same day that Apple releases its phone for sale on its own web site. How much longer will you have to wait? 2 more months from Apple's sale date?
2) Wouldn't early penalty for cancellation of the contract apply?

1) i remember last year it was a month or two after release date for that promo. If you dont to go thru adding and cancelling a line, costco will have a trade in promo where you get about $360 off iphone 12 and that promo happened on release date for iphone 11 last year. And costco took an additional $50 off msrp
2. No ETF as a line isnt a contract nor is your entire account
I can confirm that changing plans does not affect your rebate especially if all plans qualify as you say. I changed plans back in January when I did a Samsung deal and nothing was affected The only requirement for those deals were that you have to have a voice plan not data only.
Isn't that cheaper? Just keep it?
