IDK. $300 for a Wifi 5 Mesh System with no wired backhaul, no Ethernet ports on the AP's, limited admin dashboard features, etc. doesn't seem like a great deal to me.
I really wish Costco sells router combo packs like Amazon does. If you read/watch the reviews, you will notice feedback that the wifi points provide lower speeds. Also, the other important thing to note and compared to the gen 1 Google wifi is that the points do not have ethernet ports and can act only as access points.
No need to return it back at Costco, just keep it then go to Customer Service desk with your receipt on Aug 5 and ask for the price difference. They give you 30 days from purchase.

I currently have an Orbi but will buy this to try it out. How's gaming and video streaming on this for those that have it up and running? I wish it has network ports on APs but I'm figuring since it comes with 3 I can simply put one next to my computer. Would love to hear more stories from others along with pros and cons.
For those that have Smartthing, Phillips Hue Bridge, and Arlo were there any issues switching to this? Did you just simply connect your brides to the Google Nest and everything work? I know I'll have to buy a network switch.
Is there any way to check store inventory? I can't even get someone to pick up a phone and the closest one to me has none. Don't want to do a longer drive if I don't have to
Went to pick up a set today; works great, definitely improved my WiFi speed and coverage. It only took 15 minutes to setup the router and two WiFi points. Will give the 3rd WiFi point to my brother. The set comes with a router and two points in one box and one of the points comes wrapped in its own box.
When I went to my local Costco (zip 94577) they did not have advertisement up or anything. I figured they had none too and on the way out my wife flagged down someone and asked. He was surprised they did not have anything up for it either, but he told us that they had received a huge pallet of them this morning and to just ask them to punch it in at check out. Sure enough, the checkout lady told me there was a bunch. So for those that do not see it in store, be sure to ask someone!
Took my receipt in last week to Costco. Customer service told me I had to request for price adjustment online, since it's an online purchase. It's more than a week, and send like still no adjustment yet. I might as well go in the store and purchase the set and return it with the online receipt.
1. I'm paying for 200/200 Mbps with Verizon but only getting half the upload speed. Download speed has been averaging above 200 Mbps.
2. From the app all my devices are showing under primary network. There were devices that I connected to the guest network but is not showing under there.
3. Devices details show all devices as wired connection, however, all of them are wifi.
Does this play nice with Apple devices? Also how is the gaming with Xbox love? It'll be hardwired to a switch.
Yes. I have all Apple. Imac, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, 4 MacBooks.
Also just bought it yesterday at Costco in Fort Worth. Plenty in stock.
Was a pain to migrate from 1st to 2nd gen.
You have to reset 1st gen setting and uninstall. I had a bunch of ip reservation and port forwarding and advance net work settings so I had to reset that up after uninstalling 1st gen and reinstalling 2nd gen
It is backwards and forwards compatible. I have 4 nest and two 1st gen connected.
I went to my local Costco in Seattle and this is still in Stock with the same deal price.
You can always call your local costco to check inventory status and they will hold it for you for a day or two.
