If they sell mag15 $1600 at launch, someone was selling the identical laptop for $900 6 months later. This laptop might have very high depreciation rate.

I doubt this laptop will go down much further because of the design and specs. 1600 was overpriced launch price from a generally overpriced company to begin with.

And what laptop is worth much after a few years? They all depreciate rapidly. For example, check 2015 dell xps 13 ebay bids ($210ish) and thats before shipping and fees.

The dead pixel guarantee requires getting windows, which doesn't make sense to me.

Anyone know of any other light reasonably priced laptops with ryzen 7 CPUs?

Looked interesting till I saw that it doesn't do display through usb-c, so can't use a single cable to connect to a usb-c monitor. That just killed it for me.

Care to give some examples? I'd love to get one. Ever since amd 4000 series launched, I'm looking for portable ultrabook with great display and great battery life. This particular laptop weighs about 3 lbs with great display - antiglare, atleast 300 nits, 100% srgb, 72% NTSC and 76% adobe rgb, battery of 91 Whr and ryzen 4800h which is top of the line CPU.
