I was shopping for a new toilet at Home Depot today and they had these on clearance. The store I was at had two. Seems like a nice deal so I bought.

Regular price says $249. This is the white toilet with elongated bowl and slow close seat.

I have a picture of the $140 price tag, but unsure how to include it on the post.

I also recently got an email from Home Depot for $15 off $100 if you use Home Depot Credit Card. So made the deal even better.

Confirmed same price at my local Home Depot, although brickseek showed 7 and we could only find 1. Luckily that's all I needed. I've had two of these Cimarron model toilets installed for over 6 years with no issues. This thing is 4.5 stars with almost 2500 reviews. Not sure the generic complaints about the brand apply to this model, if anyone is hesitant about grabbing one. Thanks OP.

Edit: Also just saw Menards is doing a rebate this week, so for those who live near one and are eligible it should show up here [homedepotrebates11percent.com] soon.

What did you go with?
I'm not the guy you were responding to, but his comment was reply to me so FWIW - I went with an American Standard Cadet 3 (tall / elongated model) for my last replacement in our guest/office bathroom last year and it instantly became the de facto THRONE of the house. Even my shorter wife loves it (I'm 6', she's just over 5').

I'm not sure what margins HD is working with on toilets but they must be next to nothing, I got the display model in the box with all new packaged parts on clearance after the manager basically begged me to buy it. It was marked $99, I offered him $70 and he immediately accepted. I should have offered him $50 laugh out loud

Our experience has been so good with the Cadet 3 that no matter what other deals are out there I'll definitely be buying the same exact model without regard for price when I remodel our other guest bathroom this fall. It's one of those things where I've realized cost means very little in the long run.

Also, while I'm here - on advice of just about every pro plumber: for any toilet use a real jumbo wax ring and cut out any of the stupid plastic funnels in the middle when installing.

Cadets are great toilets. Those and Toto is all I buy for my personal homes now. Rentals and flips get Sams club toilets that get good reviews from the plumbing forums, but I don't like how they operate.

There are couple versions of this. Flowise and Standard. Can't tell the difference.
