This is a good deal (purchased one like this about a month ago, and I couldn't tell it wasn't new). One word of warning - some of the chromebook offers may not be available (free 100GB on Google Drive for a couple of years, etc.). As long as that isn't important to you, great price.

Is MediaTek Helio P60T any good?
From what I've read, it's perfectly fine for regular use - web browsing, entertainment, etc. but bogs down under heavy use or with professional type apps. One benefit though is that it should run Android apps much better than a similar low power Intel CPU Chromebook.
I did a quick search on MediaTek Helio P60T. It is about the level of Snapdragon 820 from 2015 or 2016. As long as you don't play games on it, this tablet is fine for everyday use.

Sorry for the stupid question, but does this run windows or a mobile OS? I haven't owned a laptop in years and I'm not sure how things have changed.

It's called Chrome OS, but let's forget the fancy name. The screen looks like what you see on a cell phone. It also has Google Play Store. You can install all your cellphone apps. Use it like you would with a cell phone.
Had a couple of these in the cart and then it gave a pop-up that "Delivery Option Selected is Not Available" ...then went back to item and the Open Box - Excellent was not longer an option... shoot. Went ahead and got the new version at $299 which is still an excellent deal for the hardware. Also going to get a monitor and full-size keyboard for a workstation for 4th grader.

You are going to be disappointed in the video output. It does 1440px900 max. Can't do 1080p. I bought one for my 2nd grade daughter. Greate chromebook but it doesnt have the horsepower for external monitors. Might be a different story with main display disabled but I tried 4 different usb-c to hdmi cables.
Been that way for a few days, it's even out of stock on Lenovo site. Found a refurb at VIP Outlet with 15% off last night ($211 & used some Discover cash to bring it down even lower).
Hopefully it's as good as the other purchases I've received from them.

He talks about gaming about the 9:00 minute mark in the video.
