Had my interest until I saw it was only 75hz... never going to buy another monitor for gaming that's less than 144hz. It's just too much of a game-changer. This might be good for someone looking to play Flight Simulator 2020 though.

This would be one hell of a deal if it were 1440p. I can get over 75hz at this price point if QHD

agreed.
it's funny, i didn't think it would be such a huge jump. picked up an OMEN27 a while back super cheap with the amazing Discover PP back in the day. my god, playing things at 144-165Hz is soooo buttery smooth.

equally as troubling is the low 1080 resolution on a 34''... i wouldn't even get a 27'' at 1080, such a waste of physically desk space for nothing. this being the same 13'' height as a 1920x1080 27'', just 8'' wider. i'd pass.

For me its the fact that it's a 34" 21:9 monitor @ 2560x1080. For gaming it is fine, but for day-to-day large text might get bothersome. 34" 21:9 belongs in the 1440p space (which is actually identical in ppi to a 27" 16:9 monitor @ 1440p)

There is a Sceptre 2560x1080 30" 21:9 which is much more acceptable @ 1080p (also 85hz) and has gone on sale for $200 if you hold out.

For double the price you can get double resolution! Pun intended.

This is a good deal. 3440x1440 is $470 including tax. Only problem is refresh rate appears like.

I have this Samsung and it's great, I only wish it was curved... for an ultra wide you really need the curve, I'm contemplating returning it merely for the lack of curve

I had a similar thought process. I'm thinking of buying Samsung in a few days, and depending on whether I can score a better replacement on BF/CM, decide whether to return or not. (Costco membership: gotta reap the benefits somehow, not really a frequent visitor here in NYC).

Yep I'm in no hurry to return, there's of plenty of time left, also somebody mentioned earlier monitors don't fall under the 90 day Costco return policy so there's more time... will wait for a solid qhd 34" around the 350 mark in the next few months
