Found this deal now that the Dell direct discount is less. Not as good as that recent deal with the $100 e-gift card if you count that as good as cash but still the best deal I see at the moment. If anyone knows discount codes or how to get free shipping this gets even hotter, hope it helps someone.

This is a 1440 with 5 ms response time and 60 Hz refresh rate if anyone was wondering.

Not great for movies/games/photography. Great for productivity. Not very bright.

because most of those are VA and not IPS, IPS is almost always more expensive

Wish Dell wasn't being so difficult about supporting Apple macbooks. There are so few non-dell USB-C monitors

What's the problem with macbooks? I have this monitor and a MBP and they work just fine together.

This doesn't seem to be a good price for a 34" ultrawide IPS. I have the LG 34WN80C, which is $549 on amazon right now. The only difference is that this Dell has PIP and supplies 90W over USB-C, while the LG only does 60W.
Depends on your needs. I have a 15" MBP, so 90W is critical if I'm trying to power it via the monitor.

I bought this last month from Dell website and this is an excellent monitor. Screen is crystal clear and USB-C works great providing power to my Lenovo work laptop. Lot of USB ports where I could connect speakers, wireless mouse/keyboard etc and Dell display manager software makes it so easy to have multiple split screens.

Often 43" 4k monitor (dell U4320Q) goes on sale for about $100 more.
So not sure if this is a deal at all.

60 HZ on the product page. Seems overpriced for a 60hz ips uw monitor.

This monitor gives me so many problems where it starts flickering on and off randomly. I don't have problems with it when I use a Mac but I do have problems with it when I use an HP laptop. I've changed out the cords and tried different HP laptops. It could be a problem related to certain brands, but just beware.

Update: did both firmware update and driver install. Seems to have fixed the flicker problem. Love the monitor and KVM feature makes it a steal. Wish it had more usb-c ports
