It's 4 years since receiving the sign up bonus.
You have to wait 4 years since opening the first one before you can get another.
The application date or the card open date doesn't matter. What matters is the date that you received the sign-up bonus. That date is probably the closing date of the statement in which it was awarded to you.

For example, if you met the minimum spend for the sign up bonus in the first month the card was opened, the statement closing date was probably October or November 2016. If you met the minimum spend in the 3rd month that the card was opened, then the bonus may have been awarded in January or even February - again, depends on the statement closing date. You can check your first few statements in that account to know for sure.

Applied for P2 as she already had the approval for this card by logging into her chase account. During application submission it asked 2 additional questions if we own/rent house and gross annual income. For gross annual income she entered a combined annual household income which I think might be a problem. After we submitted the application it went for review letting us know by US mail within 30 days. The automated line gave the same message.

Do we wait to see if she is approved or call reconsideration line and tell them the mistake on the annual household income she specified?

Thanks

I have the OG chase sapphire card with no annual fees (can't get it anymore) would this disqualify me from getting the preferred?

Income is not the issue. Many put combined HH income on CC applications. Banks are now more strict on CC.

Either way. If you want to know ASAP, you can call them. Or, simply wait.

Just hit my $4k spending requirement and the 80k points will show up on my next bill.

Since I don't travel much and would rather have the cash, is there any tricks to maximize the return or is $800 the max? Thx for any help. This is fun

If you want cash. I think $800 is max. You can use the treat yourself promo for food which give you 1.25x ($1000).

I got CSP bonus back in Feb 2016. I downgraded the card to NO fee CS card which was offered at that time. Called yesterday before applying since it says " This product is available to you if you do not have any Sapphire card". Rep advise me to change the card to other product such as freedom unlimited or regular freedom and apply after 2-3 days and I should be eligible since it's been 4 years from the last bonus and I won't have any chase sapphire product.

How are people spending to reach $4k? I have many CCs for different purposes and I want to maximize my return on investment.

I still see it on Chase.com. I applied it yesterday and was not approved. Called reconsideration line this morning and had it approved. I DON'T KNOW f the sign up bonus is based on application date or account open date. Just sharing the information here.

The referral link seems broken to me. It still gives us a 11/7 expired offer. Anyone has the same issue and knows the solution?

Buy groceries or gift cards at a grocery store and then use Pay yourself back with 25% bonus.
