For everyone who keeps questioning the warranty information:

The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)

So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.

(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)

Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

Sony's pushing it as part of their "PS5 Ready" series and is actually one of the few TV's capable of gaming 4K at 120 Frames...however this tv will not do it out the box until a firmware update Sony has yet to push. It's assumed they'll do it closer to PS5 launch Source: https://www.techradar.com/news/sony-ps5-ready-tv

I mean you bought this way back in July. So you've enjoyed this TV for about 2 months while others patiently waited. Maybe just go to Costco and see if they will price adjust without all the hassles of returning. Cause you returning will just cause your TV to get sent back to Sony and they will then have to sell it as refurbished and then reship it somewhere else to sell. The carbon footprint of all this is huge.

Does anyone know if the 75" will also be on sale?
Someone posted prices for all models a few hundred off each in this thread, but with no proof or reason, so not believable yet.

I just got the 55" from Greentoe for $899 including taxes.
I thought that place was a scam. (You order and they try to get you on another TV, etc)
Good to hear a success story.

Is there a way to get this deal without being a Costco member? Looks like membership is only $60/year, but I just don't think I'd ever visit the store to grocery shop.
Quote from snmobley :
Technically you could get the membership, buy the TV, and then get a refund on your membership. Kinda sketchy to do that but Costco has a no questions asked refund on your membership fee.
Actually, I've been thinking of going up to the executive to get the extra 2%. I'm looking at the 85" so the extra 2% is almost the cost to upgrade the membership.

If you purchase online, they start from the day it's delivered to you, so that's an option.
Good to know, nice way to bridge over to the 30day price match window

Quote from Calvin2002 :
Consider this is the lowest price ever, it may sold out before oct 25. I may just buy it on the first day and return it if BF price is much cheaper(more than $50 different).

Quote from cdejesus24 :
If I was purchasing this TV I'd buy day 1 to avoid it selling out. It's a great price under $1000 and I don't imagine it'll drop much further by the end of the year. I wish the 55" would drop in price a bit as well.

Quote from Wildpir8 :
I'd be pretty surprised if the TV is still in stock on 10/20.
Is there any evidence of this? (Going out of stock) or is this just guessing? I'd like to know either way.

Just to let you know these mid-tier TV models tend to hit their lowest price the following year during summer when stores are clearing out older models to make room for newer models.
If it usually goes into the next spring/summer, I'd be surprised about it going out of stock now. Is the TV still in production now, are they still actively constructing it?

As for the pricing, that is what I read as well, however, I think the price drop around BF gets down pretty close. At least based on this: http://i.rtings.com/images/yearly...-deals.png

Regarding supply, I can only speak back to a couple of years ago when Costco had the Vizio pq65-f1 on sale for $1400 I think it was. This was in November and at the time that was a great deal and it ended up selling out.

Was gonna jump on this deal to replace my 65" 1080p TV but just realized the X900H won't fit on my stand because the legs are wider. Gah!!
If it's in the bedroom U can just place it on top of a old tv box that's what I did for the Hisense H9F I got last year cause my stand wasn't wide enough the legs would go over the sides. I'm using my Sony 43" 800d box.

I had to wait over 2 weeks for my 55" cause all the warehouses were sold out due to sale. Loved it so much wanted a 65" for the living room. Picked one up yesterday from my local warehouse. I'll head in next week to get a price adjustment. At this price, it's gonna be hard to find in warehouse next week.

I'm currently on a 55" Bravia 2015 model and trying to hold out on a sale on the 75".

What do you think is a good price for the 75"? I'm thinking around $1500.

Not sure if I can resist buying the 65" though. Might just settle for the 65" and upgrade again in a few years (wife will not like that).

Will you get the 5 year warranty if you PM? Debating pulling the trigger now just to secure one, but would like the extra 2 years warranty

As long as you use the Costco card you'll get the additional 2 years. Price adjustment has nothing to do with the warranty. Costco has the specific model number x90ch so they don't have to price match. You're not price matching, your just price adjusting.

The coupon book says 5 years with no mention of using their card so perhaps they forgot to print that part. I was going to use my Costco Citi VISA anyway

With this you have will get HDMI 2.1 and EArc with a firmware update so if you value that for next gen gaming I believe the 950H gets a tad bit brighter.

There is a difference between the store running out of stock and the mfr running out of stock because they arent making it anymore. One is just temporary. I'm more concerned about the later. My plan is to wait til I am with in 30days of BF
