Standard product, the hook is convenient since you can attach it to your ketchain

Compared to most of the other USB 3 flash drives available, I'd say this one is above standard. In my book this is probably the top in this price range. What would you rank ahead of it?

Really wish there was a deal just as good for the 256GB version. I've been waiting for a quality drive to have a nice discount but it doesn't seem to happen often.

I use these as a backup for family pics/vids. Fill one up and throw it in the safe. Good to have an extra few on hand, thanks!

256gb dark grey version is $33.99...cheaper than buying 2 128gb at $19. Good deal in my book, in for 1!

I've had the 128 light grey version since 2018 ($27 at the time) and has to be hands down the best usb drive I own, doesn't run too hot, consistently fast transfer speed 40-60mb/s, and easy to carry via that little loop.

The 256gb version is $34 and if you have the Amazon Prime Visa, you get 25% cash back on it right now. I just picked one up.

I have this in a 32gb version. It has worked great so far for occasional use. I would note that on a keychain, the design tends to take up more space since the loop is on the side and not on the end. It's not any crazy, but something to note if you have a lot of keys.

Is #2 referring to the write speeds in #1?

I have the 32 GB and it's been great.

I think the Titan Gray color one seems to be a better deal, a dollar cheaper, at $33.99 with 25% back for Amazon Prime Visa Card.

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-BA...B07BPKL2D2

Also, not sure why, but the title says: "Samsung BAR Plus 256GB - 400MB/s USB 3.1 Flash Drive Titan Gray (MUF-256BE4/AM)"

400MB/s? Not sure if that's true.

I bought it for that price during Prime day, however didn't see anything about cash back. Did you have to use a certain card to get that option?

You really don't want to use USB flash drives to store valuable data. The 1's and 0's in NAND flash cells, are stored as voltage levels. Sometimes these cells leak, this is called bit rot. The probability of this occurring per cell, depends on quite a few variables, but here's a few off the top of my head.
-Flash type
-Flash quality(USB flash is usually lower quality)
-Time between refresh(powering up the drive by plugging it in).
-Storage temperature

The time before a file becomes corrupted/unreadable, just varies and can happen between a month to 10 years...

This has happened to me a few times. I'm still mourning some of my lost documents. Now I use cloud + 2 HDDs in raid 1. Setting up raid 1 probably wasn't necessary.
