Ordered mine on 11th and got it this morning. Set up is complete.

However pedals are not rotating. I removed the lock from the wheels too. Connected to app as well.

Anyone know what am I missing?

There's the two bolts at the bottom of the wheel for the wheel lock. Then there's a plastic pin you pull out above the wheel with a yellow tag on it.

No problem. I put mine together about 30 minutes before your post.

I read PVC isn't good for some floors and high density EVA is better. Still holding out.
A link to what you are waiting for? PVC is fine for carpet?

Expensive. Also doesn't say what material it's made of (PVC?).
Just confirmed it's 100% PVC

Regarding the cheaper $18 mat someone posted, I read through all reviews that mentioned "wood" or "hardwood" and all of them are positive and there is no mention of that PVC mat harming the wood floors in any way. So I went with the cheapo $18 option.

You have to pay for the Peloton app correct? My wife wants me to buy her one of these Peloton type bikes and I'm trying to understand the pros and cons. The one review said the only bike that was "open source" allowing you to use any app was the Bowflex but this is half the price.

Personally I figure I will be watching the bike sit in the corner for six months then I will sell it on Craigslist but maybe I'm wrong.
I have the Peloton. AMA. The App is $40 per month but it is a family subscription. Up to six people you designate within your account as family can access. This includes access on all Apple, Android phones and tablets as well as AppleTV, FireTV. They have exercises for on the bike and off. Yoga, HIIT, cardio. As well as outside exercises like running and walking. Even meditation. The community is highly competitive, lots of badges to earn. It connects deeply with Apple HealthKit and works with Google Health. You can also connect it to Strava, Facebook, and Fitbit. I have an Amazon FireTV stick in the gym on a Sony TV, I use this for floor exercises. I also have the AppleTV and the wife uses it for floor exercises, Yoga, and meditation in the family room.

Can you use clipless shoes with this?
Yes, however in order for you to maximize your workout you have to pull up on the pedal in the upstroke of your cycle. So to get the best results you want clip in shoes. I use any shoe when I just want to get on the bike for a bit and get my heart rate up for five or ten minutes on a scenic ride.

The 6month classes are recorded classes..imo people are not buying the bike for the echelon classes as they are not as good as peloton
This isn't true at all. My 6 month trial is the $40 month one with live classes

My bike arrived, but there's only a 90 day trial, not a 6 month as advertised. Anyone else having the same problem? Chat rep said to email CS...
How did you check the trail period if it's 3 months or 6 months? Is it in the app or in your account ?

When creating the account you add your device to start the membership, when you add retailer and the SN of the bike it'll tell you which trial period you qualified for. FYI, I spoke with their customer service via chat and got 6 months. Had to show them proof of purchase (screenshot of Walmart order was good enough).

The app will state 90 days. Make sure you choose the $39.99 per month level then call Echelon and they will give you 6 months. I found it easy to speak to them.

Yes..if you get the cs to do it for you..but if you look at the pricing of 6 month $120 that is for the ,$20 month membership which is not live classes.
