Sure thing. Just spread some rep if you can Wink

Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.

It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).

Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.

I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.

Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

Order on Nov 1st so you can price adjust on Nov. 30th(Cyber Monday). 30 days for price adjustment for costco.com

I looked into this and general consensus is that this WILL NOT work. Most Costco employees online are saying they are told not to honor price adjustments for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and sales for items purchased beforehand. Of course, you can risk it but there isn't any guarantee you will get the price adjusted (most said if the item goes out of stock, Costco will definitely not price adjust).

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.

Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

A bird in hand? If they were both available right now, and I knew 100%they would price adjust, I would get this deal.

I am little suspicious on price adjustment on 30th because of holiday deal so still thinking should I order right now :-P
Other stores like Walmart/Kohls also do same. They don't price match if reduced price is on Clearance etc. These guys has brought up difference policies for that. Few day back, I learnt that Amazon just stopped adjustment even within 30 days. Adjustment seems to be loss to these big players.

Can anybody confirm if this curved monitor is not good for using Excel spreadsheets? Somebody mentioned that the curvature distorts straight lines. Also, is anybody using two of these monitors for a dual monitor setup for work productivity?
I can't speak for this one specifically, but I have a 1000R monitor and a 1500R monitor and I frequently use excel sheets for grad school without any issues. YMMV though

Doesn't seem like a much better deal than the $300 35in Monoprice monitor from a few weeks past. This does have speakers, better refresh rate, and more curve. BUT it is 93% DCI-P3 which will look worse for most people than Monoprice's 99% sRGB. Also this is an inch smaller - so just smaller screen real estate.

Basically the exact same as the GNV3DBE, which I've had for a week now. Lovely monitor.

This is definitely better. Response time on the Monoprice is 8ms with 4 OD while this is half. This is 144hz and the other is only 100hz. Lastly, DCIP3 is a wide color gamut. 93% coverage means its likely 10-20% over 100% srgb, so definitelya better color range.

I use two curved 34" Samsung monitors in a stacked configuration at work and they work phenomenally for spreadsheets (a big part of my job). I use a free program that allows you to split each monitor into two sections so it's like I have four monitors with no vertical bezel in-between.
I would mount them on a single stand and then spend a bit of time getting the placement right. Two stacked is rather tall so you have to drop the bottom one down pretty low and angle it up slightly and the top you want angled down slightly. Works awesome and I like it much better than the 4x22" setup I was using before.

Just got off the phone with Costco support after speaking with a rep named Jason.

He confirmed with me that I would be able to buy this and get the price adjustment on it despite it being a Cyber Monday deal.

So I'll be placing my order tomorrow and canceling my order on the Dell S3220DGF.

Thanks everyone! :')

How far back from them do you sit? Which mount do you use? Sounds like a cool setup!

I wish Costco was close enough to me that I could justify buying a membership. Its close enough to drive for a one time good deal, but not for regular trips.
