My first deal post! I just ordered one for store pickup, will update this post with a review after I setup at the office tomorrow morning.

Update: Picked up the monitor this morning, great looking monitor with minimal bezels and a fast easy setup. Straight out of the box its calibrated nicely though I will need to adjust to my preferences. I am mostly using my system for tech and basic graphic design work along with some light audio and video editing. At the moment my laptop is being stubborn and defaulting to the Intel GPU, updating drivers so I can take full advantage of 1050Ti. Very good buy at $260
No way, this guy codes too fast for 30Hz...
Great monitors paid $359 earlier this year. Make sure your system can run them at 60hz. At 30hz they flicker. Currently using a new MacBook Pro to drive these at native resolution USB-C to DisplayPort.

Works fine for me with the ps5, though I'm unsure how it compares to the lg ul600 for next gen.

I recorded a video of the ps5 and hobbit bluray on the samsung ur55 using a galaxy note 8 camera. The quality looks better than what the camera shows.

Thanks! I decided to go with an LG 2560*1440 with HDR, Free sync and 144 FPS. I've done a lot of research and feel it's a happy medium between the FPS and 4K.

Which next gen system are you going to use it with? I heard the ps5 doesnt have 1440p support, but the xbox series x does.

The Xbox series X. I got lucky and got one last week but currently playing it on 1080 P. I'm looking forward to the new monitor.

I decided to return the Samsung and chose the LG. I really wanted to keep both but didn't see the need to spend $600 for two monitors. It's all about Preference. My mom and everyone that has seen both monitors love the Samsung more than the LG, but for me, the LG grew on me more and I'll be able to adjust colors easier for photo editing and deal with work-related documents. LG isn't as Vivid as Samsung (how we all know Samsung panels to be like their TVs and Phones), but I feel the LG is more realistic and truer to tone.

Wound up exchanging this for the LG 27UL600 that is on sale. This Samsung has an issue with xbox HDR whenever it switches from a game HDR back to SDR on the dashboard screen just gets stuck black. Had to unplug the monitor and plug it back in just to be able to see the image again.
The HDR also just looks way better on the LG.
I hadn't realized that the "HDR 400" the LG monitor advertises actually means it is also HDR10 (the 400 just specifies the brightness I guess...monitors are so confusing lol). I bought this samsung initially thinking the HDR400 of the LG wouldn't work on xbox.

Prefer the fact that the LG sits lower to the desk as compared to this Samsing. Always possible to raise a monitor but can't really lower it if desired.

Didn't dig too deep but the LG seems to have more options overall.

Both look great imo but LG worth the extra $20.

Yup tried both and 100% agree about the colors. It's typical Samsung display with the vivid saturated colors. Looks very appealing but not easy on the eyes. Prefer the LG as well

Testing both the monitors I'm going to keep the LG & return the Samsung . I prefer the colors on the LG for my photo editing work . 😊

I ended up ordering the LG as well. I think I'm going to return the Samsung one after reading the above comments.

Edit: Cancelled both orders. Went with the LG Nano and used my 10% birthday coupon. Great price.
