We're all 12s being offered the $300 off each phone? I did this same retentions deal a few years back and was looking to do the same. I'm on the unlimited plan already and don't mind the two year plan. It's the best deal for me vs. bill credits.
Whatever phone you want. The idea is you buy enough GC to buy the phone through Apple.
Have a link to that?
It's not live yet. Search for it here on slickdeals.

Would they do on pro max?
If only the 12 had Touch ID I would be all over this. I can't stand Face ID. Whenever Apple brings that back they will sell even more. Especially with the masks having to be worn I don't see that stopping anytime soon. Soon Apple will have to call it mask ID
I ordered an IPHONE 12 PRO MAX SILVER 256GB on the first day of the PreOrder (11/6).
Looks like Walmart distribution center ran out of that version, so they decided to send me a comparable replacement:
IPHONE 12 PRO MAX PACIFIC BLUE 128GB
That is NOT a good comparable replacement!! This is ridiculous.
I talked with a customer service rep and they said there is nothing they can do. They acted a bit annoyed that I wasn't satisfied with what I got, because it was on backorder and some people can't even get the PACIFIC BLUE 128GB version.
I argued that the 128GB is not even the same price as the 256GB and the rep said the only thing they can do on their end is to let me send it back and I would get a refund in 4 to 6 days after they received the phone back, as long as it's in unused, unopened condition and then I can reorder another one, but that currently there is a three to four week wait on the MAX SILVER 256GB.
Outraged I told the rep that I ordered it on the first day of the PreOrder so that I would have it on launch day, not have to wait until 5 to 6 weeks after the launch date. I asked to speak with a manager, they left and came back after a few minutes and said that they don't have a manager available to talk to me right now. I insisted and asked them to try again. They tried again and returned after a few minutes and said that a manager would call me back within two hours. I waited almost a full 24 hours and no one ever returned my call.
I finally had to call them back and accepted the only option I had left, which is for them to allow me to ship it back. I then called Verizon and tried to purchase the iPhone through them instead and even though initially it looked like it was going to work, halfway through the upgrade process the rep said her system blocked her because of the pending order on the account. They advised that Walmart must contact them and have the device payment removed from the account. I called Walmart back and they said once they receive the return this would happen automatically and I would be able to purchase the phone once again. I asked if I can return it at the store to make the return faster and they said yes that would work. I went to walmart at 7:30PM, but the customer service reps there at that time did not know how to handle it and I had to come back the following day. When I returned the following day the had a manager come up and explain to me that since I initiated the return through the phone I had no choice but to ship it back.
So basically I'm not going to get the phone I ordered on the first day of the PreOrder until sometime in mid December.
I have been buying the iPhone for myself and my family since about the iPhone 3GS. Walmart has given the worst purchase experience ever, by far in ordering an iPhone. Nightmare service. I'm totally in disbelief.
