I've used these the last several months for zoom calls and music. I think they're great. I didn't realize how comfortable they were until I put on the sony ps5 headset. I also found them much more comfortable than xm4

These headphones still have issues when used with virtual meetings. If connected to the computer and using computer audio on Zoom, WebEx, or GoTo, I still experience crackling audio and audio dropping out occasionally. I don't have this issue when just connecting the headphones to my phone and I can minimize it somewhat by making sure it's only connected to one device (i.e., when it's connected to both my phone and computer, I have far more problems).
The firmware updates that Bose has released since this spring have also helped, but not completely eliminated the problems. Just go in with your eyes wide open that if you're getting these headphones for "home office" type usage, you'll probably run into some of the audio crackling/disconnecting that have plagued users.

Bluetooth or audio cable?
Also someone mentioned this on the Bose qc ii/700 thread:
the glitch could probably due to your bluetooth is not supporting AAC, because Bose only support AAC and SBC codecs. you can set your bluetooth to AAC codecs only, then it will not glitch.
also your bluetooth version matters. is it 5.0? 4? 3?
how to set it depends on if you have mac or windows. google it to do that.
And
After reviewing the issue, it has to do with having the Bose QC35ii's set as a "headset" on your PC; this causes massive amounts of feedback from the Microphone. You can "fix" the issue but setting the headset to headphones in Windows, but it makes the headphones really hard to use for calls or Zoom. This is a pretty known issue from what I saw, but I'm not sure who it happens to. I do not have these issues with any other Bluetooth headset I use, and I'm a 15+ YR career tech guy. On the latest firmware as well.

Thanks for that. It's good info and I'll see if I can delve a little more into the problem. Just FYI though (regarding the last paragraph), I have the 700s and not the QC35iis, and the problem isn't feedback. Still, I think it is well accepted that the problem has to do with bluetooth and the codec being used. I don't think your "average business professional" wants to troubleshoot their new headphones for hours or days to get them working properly though, when others work fine out of the box. Appreciate the help nonetheless.
The change case ONLY comes with a Limited Edition. So I guess Costco did a deal with Bose to include it with a regular 700 set. That said... the 700 has a batt life of 20 hrs so if u travel International you may need some extra juice. So the case can charge the set twice meaning a combined usage time of 60 hrs. Good if u are a regular flyer or commuter. Else.. I will save the 40.

My 700 is coming in as refurbished from that deal I will try on Zoom and see how it works soon.

Should be easy to find - I don't think a single article exists that doesn't directly compare these to the Sony and QC35 lol
Kinda tempted to pay 40 more just to get better service/return policy

Especially when Costco carries ONLY one color - Black.
