I was referring to the op's second link in his description. At the beginning, I thought it was a 2080 card at this title price. Then I realized that another separated link was provided for that one.

Still confused... I see a title with i7 and 2060 and the description says i9 and 2080. But I only see one link to the i7/2060 model....

This is an amazing price with these specs. I was looking to build something similar in a desktop, but I could just get this and be done with it - and just dock it to my monitor. Plus have the added benefit of portability. Am I missing something here? I mean, I know the performance won't be the same as a desktop rig with same specs, but should be close enough, right?

Can you add an additional hardrive to this for storage?

Edit: Yes you can.

The only problem is the i9 & 2080 card model cost $2349, not $1129. I was excited to see $1129 when I saw 2080 Max Q, it's too good to be true.

Looks like you can get this at Walmart for 1100 and the 3 year accidental damage plan is only $88 from there.

Decent specs crippled by terrible cpu. At this price might as well get a Ryzen 4800/4900H CPU +2060.

fyi 1660ti has very similar performance compared to a 2060. And those laptop are usually much cheaper than a 2060 equipped laptop.

The only major selling point for buying a 2060 is for its capability to run Nvidia's DLSS.
Ray tracing on this card is pretty bad.

By comparison, the HP Omen listed by Best Buy has similar specs, but with a better CPU and faster RAM and a 1660ti for only $949. The 2060 is the better GPU, but the difference is not worth an extra $180 to me. Especially if you plan to use the laptop for any non-gaming functions, where the better CPU/RAM will come in handy.

A lenovo legion5 like this was at Walmart a month ago for $1099. So this deal is solid & nearly identical if someone really needs the Lenovo Legion5 Intel i7 model & this one has 1tb ssd instead of 512gb but it has a 144hz versus the early deal having 240hz 500nits screen. Screen probably is ok on this deal for most people @ 144hz 300nits, but the other screen was better.
-------
But like above posters stated, there might be other deals to consider with Ryzen7 etc...
The best deal on SD to this day on aLenovo legion5 with Ryzen7 was the $1054 deal., But a deal like that may not happen again till after the December/Jan holidays...(other option is spend $100 more up to $1200 with better gpu/cpus).
the HP OMEN gtx 1660ti @$949 is the next best deal on a Ryzen7 laptop with good gpu.--probably the 2 lowest priced Ryzen7 good gaming laptop deals.
The 3rd & 4th Ryzen choices for budget gamers were Best buy's Asus Tuft $800 with 60hz screen, and a Dell G5/G7 144hz screen with AMD RX5600m gpu between $750 and $950.
There used to be an HP OMEN Ryzen7 + RTX 2060 for a very short period in foreign markets, but it even went out of stock there &....Update: eventually sold on SD during NOV BF sales>>
