Porting in from various networks: don't use Google Voice, Boost or any MVNO that uses Tmobile as their network. Even if the rep let's you do it, your rebate will get rejected later.
It is not known if you can stack the costco $200 with the tmobile $100 but one thing to note is that the costco rebate is by Wireless Associates which runs the booths in Costco, while the $100 is directly by T-mobile.

I'm currently paying for 3 line so my bill is $178, less with 2 of the lines having Kickback for under 2 GB data. Normally the bill is $168 then since there are months where one line does still go over 2 GB. The third line was added last year as a regular line.
Looking at the plans I can go to Magenta for the same amount of money but then I would lose Kickback. What else would I lose (I think HD that is free through a Promo on 2 lines as well as tethering)? Does it even make sense to make such a move? Am I missing anything?
I am actually grandfathered in a OLD 55+ plan that includes a lot more then what they give the new plans.

Also if I port in a ebay number now, am I able to port in a friend's number over it in a few months when they are ready to join my plan or will that invalidate any offers ?
Kickback is $10 credit when you stay under 2 GB of data. Two of my phones are eligible for that.
I have the T-Mobile ONE All-In-One Promo for $140 a month (3 lines). 2 of the lines I had back when they did the ONE Plus Promo so that is included for free on those (HD Streaming and I forget what else. Also believe they have 10GB of tethering for each of those). Those same two lines are eligible for $10 credit on each for under 2 GB of data in a month.
Then there is also a total of $38 across all three phone for Protection <360> to bring it to $178. Have always had it on the lines, even back when it was JUMP, never have had to use it but never have bothered to drop it.
