did you not loose your free line promo when you did that
I was porting from another Tmobile account to the new account with the free lines. If you do out and back in using the same account, you will probably lose the promo lines.

Just trolling or you did. Doesn't promo start tomorrow?
I got lucky where the person I was chatting with was able to start this process early. The previous rep said I had to wait until tomorrow morning.

I have the essentials 4 lines for $120/mo. All my phones are paid off. I do not need an additional line, is there any way to replace one of my paid lines under this deal or some way to take advantage of this offer?

I don't know how this works. Can you explain? I got the documents to Sign by T-mobile so it isn't official yet until I E-sign.
Look for number for porting on ebay. Find a reputable vendor, make sure the number isn't a t-mobile one, and buy it some of them allow you to choose the area code. Should be less than $10, you'll receive the number with the account number and pin. When you talk to the rep, tell them to port that number into the newly added line. That should get you the monthly credits on your bill to cover EIP instead of just half.

From what I saw earlier in the thread sounds like you can do the free line and then a year later you can drop one of your paid lines somehow.

The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.
Same. Good luck getting it fixed lol. They can't "change the system".

You can just add a free line, as long as you're on an eligible TM plan, and have two paid line.

I see it mentions that there are a lot of non stacking promos with this. Is the pixel one the only one that stacks with? Any free phone with add a line?

What plan were you both on before you added the line, and what plan are you on now?

I was on the $80 for 2 lines plan, each additional line for $10, totaling $110 (6 lines) before taxes.
After I added a line this past Sept/Oct my plan changed to $120 for 7 lines and an additional $15 (data) plan for the new line.
The rep I spoke with that added the new line said I will get refunded the new changes and the new charges will fall off after 3 billing cycles.

My "Free" line from last time is still full price. I have chatted multiple times and they keep claiming it will be automatically adjusted. Last representative finally issued a temporary credit

I checked my (currently) unlocked GV number and received the following message:

You can transfer this phone number to T-Mobile. You will be able to enter this number after adding items to your cart and entering your information during the check-out process. IMPORTANT: Please have your account number, pin/password (if applicable), and your billing address ready when you call. This will ensure your porting process goes smoothly. Reminder: Do not cancel your wireless account until your T-Mobile account has been activated.

I guess I'll find out for sure tomorrow...
