Which old free line on us gets cancelled with any line removals? TIA!
I forgot the exact names but back in 2017, they had line on us, 2 lines on us for 20, line on us 2, I believe. So they apply across all lines any lines removed you lose the free lines. Not worth the chance at least in my case.

I don't know if this is already post Ive tried looking on some of the pages.

I have 1 extra free line I'm not using already. My brother and mother in law share a 2 line plan on Tmobile. Can I swap their numbers to the free line I already have and the other line I can get tomorrow?

I added 4 lines through Costco byod. Can I add a line during the free event and after the free line is added, can I cancel the line from Costco?

Is there any downside to adding more lines besides the extra taxes and regulatory fees for the line each month, which is a few dollars extra per line?
The promos that require you adding a line to be eligible- if you are at or near max lines, you may not be able to take advantage of the promo.

Good to hear. Have you tried this yourself or know documented cases of such?

Probably, but the last time I added a line at Costco, they warned me not to cancel too soon with some vague wording about T-Mobile going after people that did. (This was a a couple years ago, so I'm not sure if that has changed) Biggest pain is that you may lose your old number

Switched and got the 20% off and 3rd line free in September. Will this offer stack or void that 20% friends and family or the 3rd free?
It should stack. I added a free line last month and everything is still right. 20% off plus free lines.

I just called Costco and they said, $150 TM BYOD promo is there till 12/24, maybe wrong info?
Quote from nyforever :
The $100 port in offer expired, and Costco's $200 BYOD is expiring today. So I guess there's no deal we can stack with this free line offer this time around? (Not saying the free line offer isn't good enough, just want to maximize the deals!)

I did this today without seeing this thread. I am on the 55 plus plan and have never tried to add a line because they seem to be excluded, but was able to add a free line and she also gave me a One Plus 5g for free also. I had to pay 10.00 sim card and taxes for the phone.
I haven't done any of these promos before and question the charges that I saw on the receipt but she assured me that the promotional credits would kick in on the first bill and I wouldn't be charged for the line or the phone.
I thought this didn't start till tomorrow? How were you able to do it today?
I'm on the same plan and never qualify. I'm afraid to do it and get charged later and have to deal with that!

Older free line on us gets canceled with any line removals so the paid lines need to be kept.

Not complaining, have 10 lines including taxes and fees for $80/mo. This would make my 11th.

Thanks the reply. I believe my first free line is from 2016 "this one's on us" and I don't remember the "lifetime can't cancel any existing paid line" but maybe I will try to check first before doing so next year. Thanks for your response!
