What Do I Need To Do To Get This Offer?
  • This is a targeted offer from T-Mobile and is only open to select existing customers that meet the following requirement:
    • You must have a qualifying T-Mobile postpaid plan with 2 or more lines that falls under one of the following SOC Codes shown in this image (see instructions below on how to find your SOC code).
      • SOC (Service Order Code): The technical term used to describe plans and services that are added to customers' accounts within T-Mobile's billing systems.
    • If you are certain you qualify, login to your account below and:
    • Alternatively, you may call T-Mobile and a representative can assist you with adding your 3rd line.
      • If calling, promotion name is "2020 Line On Us 4".
Instructions to find your SOC code (thanks to Reddit user massiveprodigy):
  1. Using the Google Chrome web browser (desktop version), open the Developer tools panel on the right (Ctrl+Shift+I)
  2. Click on Network tab
  3. Click on XHR tab
  4. Log in my.t-Mobile.com and click Account at the top.
  5. In developer tools panel, choose manageaccount from the list on the left
  6. Account level promos will appear under accountDiscounts
  7. Line level features will appear under lines > # > addOns
  8. If there is a pending change, you can see exactly what it is by clicking productsPendingChange
  9. Rate plan appears under ratePlans

I just got this done on my Simple Choice North America Unlimited plan. My SOC code (USCFM4) never appeared as eligible on the previous offers. USCFM4L appears on the list but don't see any mention of which plan this is in the Reddit community database.

The process seemed pretty painless. Needed to purchase a SIM but rep offered a bill credit for the shipping fee. I've been reading about plan changes or the line getting billed after a certain period so asked the rep to make a notation on the account.

Got another line added. Used the T mobile in app chat and customer service added the line and got the Galaxy A71 also.

If I am not wrong, they pulled the plug on 200 BYOD earlier than advertised last time around. Seems line this time around, no port-in/BYOD rebate from TM?

If I go to Costco can I just give them
The IMEI number to open up the free line or is there more that they need to see?

I don't wanna drive 30 mins to get my old phone then to go to Costco if I don't need too!

They just need the IMEI and what device it is. Took a picture and showed them that for the Nov promo.

Hmm when I talked to the reps they didn't say anything about a waiting period. I told them my plan to port out and port back in and they encouraged it. If anything changes I'll update. My Google Voice transfer should be done today and I plan to port it back right afterwards.

I have been told I cant stack Costco and freeline. they use different codes in the system. if I get the costco new line I have to call back to apply free line on us code which will violate Costco code.
