If I am not wrong, they pulled the plug on 200 BYOD earlier than advertised last time around. Seems line this time around, no port-in/BYOD rebate from TM?
Someone here posted that there is an active current $200 BYOD offer at Costco. Not sure if that is true as I do not have any details.

Updating: Discount now showing in my account as part of the Line on Us 3 promo - was previously a $20 discount, now an $40 discount and I do have the new line showing.

This makes no sense. The costco rebate is third party and does not affect eligibility for the free line (the free line required no effort as it's automatic so long as SOC qualifies. You can add the line via any avenue you choose). Did the $200 costco + $100 port-in from November. The $100 was approved, the $200 in pending status (since they approve shortly before mailing in in 14 weeks). Also did the pixel 4a 5g (which is totally no longer BYOD in the literal sense)...alrrady getting the 20.08 monthly credits.

I got all the proof that I need that this will work for my SOC. Going to visit Costco later in the week and bring the IMEI from my old Note 8. The free lines are excellent for use with a tablet...and you get one more TMO Tuesday account!
What tablet allows you to use the free voice line w/ full unlimited LTE? My iPad doesn't give full LTE and seems to have cap data too. Did you do something special to your tablet if you have iPad and what model/generation? Thanks.

Hmm, that's troubling. According to OP, it is suppose to show as "2020 Line On Us 4."

They just need the IMEI and what device it is. Took a picture and showed them that for the Nov promo.
That is what I did Friday for BYOD.

Just called and I'm qualified. They waived $10 fee too.

Edit: this is my 2nd call. 1st one said promo is expired.

You can easily set this up yourself without reaching out to customer service.
1. Identify the line that you want to use on iPhone 12 esim
2. Next identify the EID of the esim. It's under settings --> about --> EID
3. Next head to your t-mobile login --> account --> select the line --> change Sim card
4. Select esim as the option and enter EID and follow the rest of the instructions including scanning the QR code to complete the set up
5. Pop the physical Sim in the Sim card slot
6. Select the default data and voice lines on iPhone
Tmobile just told me you can't do this and have a second line attached to the same device. You can either use physical sim or esim but not both. How could this be?

Time to find a new family. Just kidding. My plan is usually excluded from the free line promos, or I would bank them for adding family members.
